Newbie advice

Hey all,

So i am completely new to the flying world of RC, i have previously raced cars and built a few boats etc but nothing like this.

I am interested in buying my first heli but i am looking for a single rotor 8 channel outdoor setup...

Firstly what are peoples recommendations? Electric or nitro?

Also are there any good beginner kits available to learn to fly myself?

Any thoughts/advice welcome [emoji4]

start off with helicopters with maybe a fixed pitch heli, or if you are feeling brave, a MCPX. indoor micro helis are slighty more difficult to fly that larger ones, but come with much cheaper repair bills.

helicopters are notorious for being difficult to fly, and they are, but rewarding when they work.

one other reccomendation is getting a flight sim and putting in hours and hours of practice into it, will help loads when it comes to flying

you also have to accept that you WILL crash, and you WILL have to fork out loads for spares
