PurcyP Posted July 14, 2014 Author Share Posted July 14, 2014 wont be long till it is finished one the car has its under carriage done its a case of polishing the body, mounting the windows and finishing the engine. the engine parts were shipped this morning they are coming from australia so will be probably a week or so. PurcyP Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share Posted July 15, 2014 oodboo for the price of that i could get a "manufacturers decal set" from hirohobby for near enough the same money been some what busy today, decided to get the car rolling so all suspension parts are now done .. now its a case of just finishing the shell in the next few days, quite happy with how the suspension n parts have turned out, took me ages to do the calipers, especially the red mazda bit that under photos look like a blob lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PurcyP Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) Thank you lads looks better in the flesh mind you but hey ho lol looking forward to getting my bits from Australia so i can do this single turbo conversion, seemed a bit of a let down to make the engine so basic out of the box with a little tiny bit of plastic masquerading as a twin turbo etc, whilst the FC3S i first did was far more detailed but there we go, will look good when thats all finished..i hope lol will also be a first try and scratch building, using resin and doing ignition wires ..should prove interesting Id like to figure out a way to all most hinge the hood onto the body and make a bonnet stay so the engine can be on show but ill think about all that when everything is finished. also need to give the majority of the dash a recolour with a very dark grey.
