Hobbywing xerun 150 amp Help...

Hi all just got my Hobbywing 150 ESC. But am having issues setting it up. The manual says to turn on the tx, hold the set button on the esc , and release as soon as it flashes red.  first off the very second I turn the esc on it  flashes red, So obviously I tried releasing the set button immediately as I turn it on. but it just continues to flash red for ages / for ever.  (rx light is on, steering works, fan on esc running and bleeping on red flash)

option 2. turn on tx, hold set button on esc until red light stops, 1 green flash 3 or 4 quick red flashes.  still all running steering etc. but nothing to motor.

Abisma cr3p TX/RX

Hobbywing xerun 150a

Hpi 1965kv scream motor

turnigy 5000mah 20-30c lipo.

Any assistance would be most welcome..

Is your battery charged or in storeage? as sounds like esc gone into LVC

got a program card or box? so can lower lvc value to 3v

hold set button down whilst powering on

now entered calibation mode smile.gif

first input is neutral: just press set button to set (led will flash/beep once)

second input thottle: apply full thottle an hold then press set button to set (green flash)

third input brake/reverse: apply full brake an hold now press set button to set (red flash)

switch off car then switch on again
now calibrated to radio biggrin.gif
