Looks awesome AJ! Absolutely love this build! The powaaah!!! :)

I'll have to try & convince you to come down our little off-road track in the summer to put her through her paces! ;) All the regulars seem to have switched to Truggies this year & we've gained some new guys with them as well, so should be some really good Truggy racing/bashes coming up!

Oh and I'm afraid I had to copy you on the cable modders front.. They make the electrics look so much nicer!  :whistling:

Cheers Tris, I will pop along soon, the only problem I have is I only have one 5s at the moment, so it means lugging my leisure battery will me

how are you finding the tekin combo, looking at one for my D8

Think the vid sums up the combo pretty well, stupid amount of torque and smooth to boot :)

Ah, yeah that could become a bit of a pain! I'm sure you'll have more beasty LiPo's by the summer though.. ;)

Need to stop looking at your Truggy now, as my ebay window is open and I'm finding myself looking at new motors! Argh!!

When I used to race SCT's I ran both 65c Nanos and Gens Ace and the difference was huge, the Nanos used to puff ,lose punch very quickly through the pack and when worked hard they got very hot. That was with a very amp hungry set up tho, the difference in a 1/8 would be less

Looks freakin' epic mate! :)

What turnbuckles are you looking at? I was considering getting some for my CRT but the HN ones are a bit too pricey & I'm struggling to find an alternative..

Wow, that's surprising! Though I can completely understand them being over worked by a more powerful setup than an el cheapo XeRun combo! lol

Lunsford are a well known American company who specialise in Ti parts, they make great stuff but a little overpriced for my liking and as it goes my Yokomo has their turnbuckles on it (came in the kit) :)

Had another bash today with the Surrey Bashers and Raw racing, a few issues, a wire fell off the fan and half way through the bash I had to re-shim the rear diff as it started to click, when some pics or vids appear ill post them up :)
