Scotty Rex X Posted July 1, 2013 Share Posted July 1, 2013 Initially I was looking to buy a crawler a hbx rockfighter to be exact. well I was having a look on model sport and came across the traxxas summit vxl 1/16th scale. 1st question. are they any good at crawling ? not competitively just a bit of fun on the weekend. would it keep up with say a maverick crawler ? 2nd question Are they waterproof to a point where i could chuck it in the lake like there big brother ? any information would be appreciated as I don't wont to blow a good bit of money and be let down by its performance. cheers Alex Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even though models are advertised as waterproof generally the manuals will say 'do not submerge' . Why do you want to throw it in a lake?
