Milkie
I think it's time to take apart my TT-01, clean it and grease up the parts.. But what grease does everyone use for general greasing of parts?
alex199020
General multi puropse grease should be fine. Are you racing? If so you may be better off with diff oil for the diffs
Garry
Diff oil will run out of the diffs as TT01 diffs aren't sealed. I use a teflon sillicone grease, it comes out of the pot clear but when its ran for while it turns dark grey. Halfords sell some.
david-6
..as TT01 diffs aren't sealed.. Are you sure? mine seem pretty much sealed to me I use multi purpose grease and on the first few runs its a little stiff. Which is normal. Costs about £2 - £3 for a fair ammount Edited August 15, 2006 by david-

In my diff's I've got a nice thick grease, which makes it act like a LSD. I don't get any leaking, as they are quite well sealed tbh. I'll try some silicone grease, I think I have some in the garage. So you don't put grease on your car?? Your bearings must be screwed!

Garry
I meant not sealed as in, if you poured diff oil in (not grease), it'll leak out the plate gap. Grease will be OK, not oil.

Tav
I just re-greased the diffs on my Kyosho. Just used what was left from the original tube. How much do people put in...fine covering or whack in a nice dollop?
