Hitec 5805 plastic gear stripped

Hey guys was out today with a couple of FG Bajas and one of my mates stripped his 

1ST plastic gear in his Hitec 5805.

Can only this gear be bought and not the full gear set?

 

Also how do you correctly set the FG servo saver

He burnt out his previous Hitec servo.

just doing a quick search would the plastic gears from a hitec 805 fit as its only the plastic gear that stripped in his 5805.

 

there a good bit cheaper and he doesnt need the rest of the metal gears.

you can buy them seperately, freeprawn does them.

 

I stripped the plastic gear out of my rhino, i gave freeprawn a ring & he said he usually carrys the plastic gears seperately but for the rhino he had none in stock, so i just ended up buying the set

 

but to be honest dude, a full set costs less than 20 notes so for that price id replace all of em as summit in the 1st place caused the gear to strip, at leas tthen you know ya gears are new & will have no problems, my rhino lasted 7+ years, was just this weekend gone that the plastic gear finally had enough!

Its the stock plastic servo saver unit.
