@ Scottyboi sell the specktrum mate i had the same issue with mine, less than 50 meter range, even sent it back to a specktrum dealer and they couldnt find anything wrong with it suprise suprise. I had checked it with 3 different receivers with different length ariels same range. So i sold it and now have a FlySky GT3C and i loose sight of the FG Baja no issues with range at all. Never buy another spektrum again. The FlySky maybe cheap and some people look down on it thinking its a cheapo model, but with

just doing a quick search would the plastic gears from a hitec 805 fit as its only the plastic gear that stripped in his 5805. there a good bit cheaper and he doesnt need the rest of the metal gears.

Hey guys was out today with a couple of FG Bajas and one of my mates stripped his 1ST plastic gear in his Hitec 5805. Can only this gear be bought and not the full gear set? Also how do you correctly set the FG servo saver He burnt out his previous Hitec servo.

Newer chassis have an angled side so impossible to get a socket in there.

Why not buy the WB535? Myself and my mate bought a non-rtr for my brother all it is, is a longer chassis and black wheels

Ours could have been a bad batch my bash spot is a place called The Curragh Plains its about 5,000 acres of open grasslands and my range was terrible. You are a lucky one with the DX3c

Myself and my mate both had DX3C's do not buy this radio it has terrible range ie. 30feet. google it i even sent mine back to the dealer who sent it off to be checked out and they upgraded the software and i had then about 40 feet range. shocking to say the least.

Suppose fan boys will always be fan boys!!!! Gone from hitec, hobao, traxxas and now flysky 2.4ghz radios. Not much difference between them all for bashing. Flysky has the best range by far may not look the best, but who looks at the radio when your driving.

As said before my flysky is paired up with my FG BAJA it it's not slow in the slightest there's no glitching and the 3rd channel works fine.

Never had issues with my flysky. I reckon people will stay away from them as there seen as a cheap radio. I find it better the spektrumdx3c i had.

My motto is buy from whoever is cheaper no matter where it's from.

Just get the flysky gt3c if your only bashing cheap with cheap receivers great range, light, lipo battery. What more do you want. A dearer radio gear is not needed.
