Cory
Nice kit, I had one when they were new out as my first rc, I've regretted selling it ever since. You should be able to get a driver to fit, some of the versions came with them in the kit

truebrit
Getting there, ball raced, alloy motor mount, shocks and prop shaft, locked rear diff, 12 turn motor. Just have to stealth mount the body. Oh, and learn to drift
b_hawk111
How much difference does the aluminium prop shaft make? Still gathering ideas for my TA01 drifter build
Zardoz
Looking good! Nice wheels, I must say.
truebrit
It's not road tested yet, but as in my old Manta Ray the original prop in this was quite bent, there is no play at all in this alloy shaft and I cant see it bending. These shafts are the standard upgrade for the TA's along will metal bearings. Also I read that the standard motor mount is prone to cracking so I got the alloy one from Asiatees. NITO
I love these threads, Welcome Mark, I did the same with my old TA02 a couple of years back. And the TA03F I had. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/154335-debating-turning-this-into-a-drift-car/?hl=nito Have fun. Looking good truebrit, How do the stealth body mounts work? Cheers Nito Edited November 26, 2014 by NITO
