They are designed to enable you to mount your GoPro camera to a range of surfaces/items in a number of different ways without having to remove the bracket from the camera. 1. The mount will fasten to any Tripod or other camera accessory with a standard 1/4-20 screw thread. 2. The mount can be fasted to trees/posts/cars etc with straps (up to standard roof rack strap width), cord, zip ties or bolts/screws.
