Gavin3171
Dont get a clash. They are rubbish motors. The launcher range is alot better! Get a 14x2t ansmann launcher, the strada can handle motors down to 13t http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ansmann-racing-launcher-motor-14t/rc-car-products/39358

Gavin3171
If the cars speed controller is ment for 7.2-7.4v then it cant take 8.4v! That will fry it!
Gaz!
go with what gav says regarding motor, get a launcher 14x2t, cracking motors for little money, the two you linked to do better jobs as paperweights. now as regards the esc, a 2s lipo reads 8.4v when fully charged but would be fine on any esc. (if it doesn`t have cut-off then you need a buzzer) ive ran them on tamiya mfu01 and dmd units and been fine. a 8.4v nimh when fully charged sits over 9v so that would cause a problem. easy one there for you matey, but some lipos Edited January 19, 2012 by big gaz

Garry
You'll struggle to find replacement brushes. The Ansmann Launcher range is the best choice for the money.
