Can the e revo vxl take two 2s lipo's running in series at 4s without blowing the motor? i always thought they could but the guy at my local hobby shop said it would blow the motor the motor and ESC are stock. any help would be great thanks guys Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fraggs Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) It is NOT rated to run 4s I think you can run the nimh's in series (not 100% without checking manual ), I have read that some have run 4s by setting the esc to the nimh setting (will blow up the esc tho most likely) it is plenty fast enough on 2s or 3s though , I have converted mine to run a 540 motor with a mmp esc (rated for 6s) and dont run 4s it is daft enough on 3s Edited January 16, 2012 by fraggs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
