oops there goes another hong nor force conrod!

My hong nor force 28 has broken its conrod this weekend whilst running it in! anyone else had this problem?

i think chris knights had a prob with his on run in but unsure , ive got that engine and had it about 16 month and i really kill it too and ive not broke a single thing YET lol it really does get some abuse off me and tbh i don't lookafter it either lol

yeah i had the same problem , after i just run it in it was on 8thor 9th tank , and was told i had over rev it as the conrod was blue , but for

breaking an engine in is very stressful on parts. it could have just been a part thats slipped through quality control. but then again im not sure if parts get xrayed by all manufacturers

Best you can hope for is to stick to your guns and try and get a warranty replacement.

It's not up to you to prove you followed the break-in instructions but that won't stop the supplier

from telling you it is. All you can do is persevere and threaten trading standards etc. 5th tank is

not acceptable even for a nitro engine. Just make sure you repeat that you followed the instructions

to the letter because they'll try and tell you it's your fault!!
