Identifying ths car

ok so this is my car I found this in a house I moved into just sat there in the basement

What im hoping is if you guys can help identify this car and also recommend a way I can

lighten it and strengthen at the same time.

are they any good do you know, just wondering if its worth me upgrading it as its been abused by who ever else had it

To be honest I would not waste my time on it, they are an entry level car with poor back up from the importing company. Get it going and have some fun with it but don`t spend to much on it.

Engine and manifold look like HPI to me.

does any one have any ideas as to how I can lower the ride of my car

You can lower the ride height by moving the ball head screw that the bottom of the shocks mount to down into the lower hole. Also use the pre load screws, unscrew them to the top to lower, screw them down to heighten. You should be able to do this for all four shocks. Just remember, the lower your car, the smoother and cleaner the running surface should be to prevent damage to the bottom of the chassis plate, flywheel or spur gear.
