  1. Hello all, SOLD ~ For sale here is my 1/10th scale Team Associated SC10 Short Course Truck. I have advertised it on eBay and it sold previously but due to a non-payer I have relisted it & also thought this time I'd put it on here as well. I am selling it as a RTR set up so all you'll need is a 2-3S Lipo battery/charger and some batteries for the remote but would also be willing to sell as a roller for those after spare parts for their SC10 models or just looking to add electrics of their own. Could sell without the remote/receiver OR without the remote/receiver, motor/ESC combo etc etc. Just ask. eBay link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324054573252 As I have to set a price on here I'll say £115 delivered anywhere in the UK mainland for someone buying from this forum which is less than the BIN advertised price on eBay. If anyone from the forum is interested just say on here and send me a PM to discuss as I do want to sell. Price/options are negotiable. Can be bought through eBay for peace of mind/security or happy to sell outside of eBay through PayPal business sale or via a face to face/cash on collection sale if you're local to Caerphilly, South Wales or just fancy a drive. 🙂 If it is bought on eBay by someone else I will update this as soon as it happens so not to disappoint anyone. ** NOW SOLD **

  3. Finally got me a Flamingo Brought month ago selfie Xmas prezzy. As had tucked away few weeks was playing on my mind never gave it a full look over so pulled it out..
  4. OK, so I bought a Losi Muggy roller from the for sale section, pretty much standard apart from a nice IRC chassis. I intend to use it as a backup for my Nitros, so not going silly, will just be running a Turnigy 2000kv with a 4S Lipo. I made a start yesterday, first thing was to sort the steering servo. For simplicity and weight saving I decided to ditch the stock servo plate and install the servo using a simple servo bracket: Bolted the bracket to the chassis, and installed the servo and linkage: Not the best servo in the world but I've used them successfully on all my other models and it does the job. It does struggle a little though, so I will likely upgrade it at some point. Steering sorted, I installed the battery box and receiver. Battery box is screwed to the chassis, receiver is stuck to the chassis with Dead Mans Grip, fantastic stuff : That done, it was time to sort the motor mount. I was originally going to use an RC-Monster Muggy mount, but at

  7. My first post on the forum, so hi to all. I'm looking to get a RC Car and as usual want to get something a little better than the basic off the shelf. I'd rather buy something that will stay in one bit rather than have to replace parts all the time at the slightest crash. My mates mostly have Traxxas 4WD slash's but I have a tendency towards a 4WD buggy. It has to be elecy as i'm not a Nitro man and have all the Lipo charging equipment already for my helicopters. I'm considering a 2nd hand HoBao Hyper 8.5 5S Castle convertion but not sure as it's £350 and miles away! However these do seem to be hard as nails and hard to break. Also looked at Losi 8 and Kyosho Inferno. Can somebody give me some expirienced opinions so I don't end up buying a lemon! Thanks, Nick
  8. Evening guys. I am a beginner so thought it a good Idea to pick up a basic car to get to grips with the basics. Unfortunately I have less knowledge than I orginally thought. Here's what I have: Mardave mini Standard G2 BRCA Legal Motor which I think is a 540 A mtroniks tuned 20 esc which seems to only have forward and brake Spektrum dx5e control and ar600 receiver And a 4.8v 500mah battery I have the esc plugged into the 'throttle' and the steering servo into 'rudder' and the battery going into the Esc. The problem I'm having is that I nine the receiver to the control but as soon as it goes forward about an inch it shuts down and I have to re-bind the receiver and then it will just shut down again. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Also what brushless set up would work ? I have 11.1v 2800mah lipos that I would like to use. What esc and motors would suit?? Thanks guys
  9. Hi, I have just bought the traxxas ken block rc car (brushless) and I am thinking about customising it , I have 2 lipo batteries and I'm planning on customising. So does anybody know where I can find some dirt tyres and wheels pre glued that would fit on this rc car ?
  10. Hi there, please forgive me as i am an amateur who is just getting in to the self built RC scene. I have had a look around and cant seem to find what i'm after. To start i thought i would make a simple Zagi. I did a bit of research and have the following equipment 1. Dx5e controller and AR600 receiver 2. two standard servos 3. 3000kv brushless motor 4. 30a ESC for aeroplanes ( according to site details ) 5. 2800mah LiPo battery My issue is this: i have plugged it all in following the instructions and although the servos respond correctly to signals sent from the controller, the motor instantly starts spinning as soon as the battery is connected. If i raise my throttle stick it will spin faster but will never stop spinning. What is it that i am doing wrong ? i would like to be able to vary the speed and have it stop completely in order to allow for slope soaring. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated
