Take the whole diff apart, probably sand/grit inside?? If the grease isn't clean, then yes it does need changing...!

Report him/her to eBay/Paypal for excessive postage fees :angry: Bumping up the postage is just a way of selling something cheaper and avoiding final sellers fees (as it isn't paid on the postage) At the end of this month (i think), eBay are stopping sellers leaving ANY feedback for buyers anyway, but yeah it does get on my nerves to.....!!

I work in the 'industry' related to pubs and recently got a 14lb bottle off the delivery driver for £10 to use on my MIG welder. 14lb is the weight of the C02 inside the bottle - unregulated bottle pressure is about 800-1000PSI....!! so yes, a primary reduction reg is required there are many other suppliers of C02, BOC are about the dearest, some don't even take a lease fee..... not to worry eh, after all was just a suggestion

LOL - found that out when I first took my CEN out, never gave myself enough space Front of car hit wall @ 30+MPH? cracked the front diff housing and ripped a steering arm bush....gutted.... Diff housing was only £6 odd and plastic steering parts set about £3, so only a cheap repair....thank god. Make mental note to self...."ALWAYS allow twice the space you think you are gonna need for WOT runs".....!!!

A 14lb bottle of C02 (carbon dioxide) works well......your 'friendly local pub landlord' might be able to help you obtain one pretty cheap... :whistling:

yeah, blow it out of inside chassis with compressed air, then dip each wheel+arm in bucket of water to swill it all out of hubs. Sand is a killer for stuff like RC's

Idling a new engine at say 11,000 rpm means that after 10 minutes the piston has travelled the bore 220,000 times....surely that would be enough for any manufacturing tolerances to be ironed out???? A mate of mine used to rebuild 2 stroke racing quad engines, after the rebuild he told the customer to warm it up, then 'ride it like ya stole it'....!

I would say they would have to prove noise pollution/public nuisance case? They would have to record the times/days of the noise (for 3 months I think?) and submit it to council. Just tell em to go and jump if they live 3/4 mile away........!!!!!!

on a side note, does anyone know what RPM a rotostart runs at......??? or to be more precise, what speed would be ideal to start a nitro engine, if say a battery drill was used to start it?
