  1. Yeah got CNC knuckles now so cars fine... LOL
  2. He was just a bit winded lol straight in the chest hahaha
  3. I must say, the lightened longer chassis worked a treat, its quicker, jumps better and has better control! Plus now i've got CNC knuckles my car didn't break!!!! I was in penenden heath today has a good laugh Here's the short vid, had a slight accident LMAO Video
  4. As above always take electrics and engine out when cleaning. As for more water resistant when bashing? I've never had a problem with the hyper its good standard...
  5. I put my standard one over the top of the new one lining up the front, everything lined up from the front diff housing to the engine flywheel groove. The only difference was the back diff housing mounts being futher back
  6. It basically has moved the rear wheels back slightly, only by about 10-12mm. So the weight is slightly forward, suppose to help with steering I think.......
  7. Just consentrate on the HSN for now, once you get that right its usually only a tweak on the lsn anyway. I've also given my mid range needle 1/4 turn anti clockwise, It seems much faster from doing that but I wouldn't touch that until you've gotten used to tuning. Its a skill you pick up in time...... You can tell if its too rich as top speed will be lower so just do as it says in the guides with 1/8 turns at a time, you'll find it'll stall to begin with as you open the throttle, this is because its too rich so keep turning the HSN clockwise 1/8's until this stops.... I find after a while of very hard bashing you end up richening the HSN slightly anyway as the temps get so high it leans more natrually.
  8. I got a result it cost me about 16 quid with delivery.... I wouldn't have paid new price from jespares though unless i was rolling in it....
  9. I've just fitted the long chassis to my hyper, I liked the way they channelled out loads of material in places which you dont need it. Plus I have the ally centre shafts which are a hell of a lot lighter than standard. Not had a bash yet though so can't tell you what difference its made, it seemed pretty quick in my garden
  10. My mac 28 goes pretty fast, i wouldn't swap it for anything at the moment.
  11. The protection has come away from one of my bell house bearings, I dont have any spares so thought i'd buy some but does anyone know the size of these so i know which ones to buy??
  12. Its not as bad as that mate, honestly I know many who say they have less torque steer with quaife diffs..... I get torque steer due to wheels spinning on my real car which is stopped with quaife. Its running 290bhp throught front wheels and can do 160 mph..... Clarkson's review was crap, you talk to an owner and guage their reactions.... RWD cars can just as easily put you in a ditch without and traction control
  13. Nope but I know many who have quaife fitted to there cars and I will be fitting it to mine soon. Well you can..... Just dont get caught.
  14. Its totally fine to drive if your a good driver and a hell of a lot quicker.
