Just consentrate on the HSN for now, once you get that right its usually only a tweak on the lsn anyway. I've also given my mid range needle 1/4 turn anti clockwise, It seems much faster from doing that but I wouldn't touch that until you've gotten used to tuning. Its a skill you pick up in time...... You can tell if its too rich as top speed will be lower so just do as it says in the guides with 1/8 turns at a time, you'll find it'll stall to begin with as you open the throttle, this is because its too rich so keep turning the HSN clockwise 1/8's until this stops....
I find after a while of very hard bashing you end up richening the HSN slightly anyway as the temps get so high it leans more natrually.
