My MG995 wouldn't work on the 4x 1.5V supply, but worked fine once I installed a hump pack.....and are still working fine (on a heavy use Savage)
Try a hump pack - if you haven't already got one???
1.5V....??? I don't think so........you must have some dodgy chinese ones......LOL
1.2V from a rechargable, with a long voltage range until just about dead, then goes V quickly.....!
I would like to add that the girl was on a BMX track with a short sleeved top on as her only protection, no helmet/gloves/goggles etc......I know she wasn't racing, but just a good job it wasn't another bike.....!!!!
It was probably tha RC drivers big sister who had dissed him earlier and he wanted revenge - looking at the video titling/editing it was done by a kid.....LOL
Yeah, it's all related to the wavelength of the frequency being used......can't remember the formula now.......think it is a quarter wavelength antenna on 27Mhz? In short, it has to be a certain length for correct/best operation
Just conductive, run of the mill wire will do ya fine, try and keep same length as original though.
There is a list on this forum somewhere for lengths to use for each make of RX, do a search and u will find it
just buy an ESC and have fully variable speed instead of just 3 fixed speeds....much better to control.....!!!
It will run fine if cracked, just make sure nothing is shorting (metal to metal) - but any ceramic resistor should be OK (as long as it is from an RC car)....I think I have an old one somewhere but who knows where it might be right now - will have a look for it if u stuck for one???
My Savage came with it (the cone) out already (it was in a bag), and manual says fit if IF you find the noise too much...........thats all?????
Anyway, I want MORE noise, not less.......LOL
I use loctite '5 way spray' as I use it at work......(so it is cheap! )
The engine will actually run on the stuff, so starting is dead easy after storage and it has been fine so far....
It is a bit like WD40 but smells even better.....
