  1. jusr go here they sell all spare parts for the xtm xt2 http://www.hobbystores.co.uk/
  2. sorry mate but im not lookin to sell just the engine on its own it goes with the savage.
  3. hi guys i havw decided to sell my 3 nitro cars as i want get into petrol the cars are on ebay. i have put them on as a job lot. the item number is 160277881553 if any one wants have a look many thanks joneser
  4. i have got both but my xl isnt a proper xl i just added the xl chassis plates to one of my original savys and the handling is better on the bigger one it will go places my original savys wont go because it gets stuck, as for the speed my bigger savy is quicker but that mite just be because the engine in it is newer then the original savy. at the end of the day its up to you what you get mate they are both really good trucks and if you go for the smaller savy then decide you want bigger just change the chassis plates and you have a xl
  5. hi guys im thinking of getting a GRP .28 Buggy / Truggy TUNED Promo Kit and was just wondering if anyone on here has one and what they r like. or is the Rossi Cobra Truggy X1 4.1cc a better choice
  6. i wood go for the xl mate simply because its longer and wider which makes it handle better than the standard savy plus you get a bigger engine which wont be that much louder than the standard 4.6, you also get a 3 speed gearbox where you only get a 2 speed with the standard savy.
  7. i dont really want to get someone else to do it for me a would rather do it myself but i have been trying for days now and i cant get it to run so that i can drive the savy round to finish the run in. i need to get some one to help me do it so that they can tell me where im going wrong but there isnt anyone else round here that has a nitro car
  8. hi guys does anyone know of anywhere a could send my savage to get it fixed and get the engine run in and tuned for me as i just cant do it. the engine is a sts 28 an i have done the first part of the run in which was to run the engine for 2 Min's then let it cool down, i done this 8 time like it said it the instructions but now its the part where i have to drive the truck round at low revs for several tanks, but when i touch the throttle it just dies on me, i have tryed tuning it a bit to get it to go but it just dies as soon as i rev the engine. the other problem i am having is that i cant get the throttle to open fully, if i turn on all the radio gear and pull the trigger all the way in on the TX the throttle only opens half way, i have tryed a few different servos but they all do the same so i thought it mite have been the trim on the TX set wrong but its fine. i really need to find somewhere a can send it as i have given up now and if i cant find somewhere that will do it then i will be selling it all because i really cant do it. any help would be much appreciated thanks jonser
  9. go for the hyper st pro if you can afford it mate i just got one last week with a sts 30 to put in it and it goes like stink. its solid to i have had a couple flat out crashes already and nothing has broke yet.
  10. cool cheers guys will get myself a hump pack and do what you have said thanks for the advice
  11. cheers mate thats the sort i was looking at and they make the servos work better because theres more voltage going to the servos then you get with normal energizers well i thinks whats why it is anyway
  12. hi guys have any of you got a hyper st pro. i just baught one a couple of days ago and got round to building it tonight, when fitting the radio tray i noticed that you get a nice big sealed rx housing but for the battery pack you get half a housing that screws onto the side of the rx housing and then you have to ziptie your batteries to it, and it leaves the whole side and bottom of the battery pack exposed to everything i.e. dirt water whatever else. if anyone else has got one have they had any problems because of this and have they found a way of enclosing the battery pack so that its not exposed to the elements. mnay thanks joneser
  13. hi guys quick question i want to get a rx battery pack instead of buying energizers all the time but im not sure which one to go for and was hoping you guys could give me some suggestions. cheers joneser
  14. you can get an sts 28 for less then 75 mate if you get one from here http://www.extremesavage.co.uk/catalog/index.php its only 65.99 and thats with a rotostart or the pull start one is the same price.
  15. i would go for the savage x rtr mate then when your ready for a change you can just upgrade it upto the svage xl like i have done.
