  1. I've never used a max 10 but am using the 120 in my stadium truck as do many others £40 for the 120 and £20 for a speed passion sensored motor £4 for a sensor lead Works very well However the adjustable BEC on the max 10 would have been a nice feature to have
  2. Finished it now so some more pictures Also took it raceing No practice straight into race it Came dead last of course And crashed alot
  3. So it's definitely worth spending the extra money then I did think that looking at it
  4. Thanks Currently have 7 running trucks I like the functions on the FS gt3c but something in our area causes interference with it makes it very glitchy like 15m range is a stretch in other areas it's fine. I know it's this tx that's the issue as if I use something like a etronix(ftx) it's fine no problems at all For £70 and cheap Rx I've been leaning towards the fs gt5 As it has 4 wheel steering aswell for the crawler And I wouldn't need to swap them all over instantly so could pick up rx over time But the FS noble just looks really cool with lots of functions but at £170 I think am just being a magpie
  5. I'll check out the radiolink I like the g7p as it does does have lots of features although I know I won't use them all but that you can keep and eye on voltage is quite nice I've got a flysky gt3 but it's a bit on the glitchy side and same keep leaving it turned on and killing battery's or in the middle of the night I hear it beeping low battery The futaba was one I looked at but price and function didn't meet others but if the quality is alot better it may be worth it
  6. So as per the title on my ever growing list of stuff I need a new tx/rx combo is needed I can't make my mind up Cheaper flysky gt5 Or spend more and get the g7p Or save longer and get a noble Or anything else someone can recommend
  7. Nitro is good but Electric is faster and easier
  8. The break hack helps alot Zd raceing wheels help alot Rpm arms if you break them Servo may need upgrading at some point
  9. Ohhh now that is a topic I know alot about I've been keeping reps for 20years and at one point had a business supplying local shops . And had over 40 Viv's in my garage Welcome to drop me a pm if you want any advice
  10. They are very impressive MT What's the other hobby out of curiosity
  11. Haha I've got a few of them now along with some other random old tools Alot came from my grandads dad. I never miss the chance of old tools Better steel and just better made than most of the new stuff
  12. A British male otherwise known as a king dick (depends when it was made) Old tools are the best these make brilliant adjustable turnbuckle spanners And they are some of the best small adjustables out there
  13. Doesn't look like a half bad set for the money The smaller ones bendyness will fell worse due to the weight of the handles
  14. No problem mine did about 6 cartwheels in to a lamppost and was still usable with the rpm arms I broke the factory arms buy hitting a grind rail at full throttle
  15. Curiosity and Google got the better of me Must be this one
  16. Get the rpm arms and a better servo aswell Then it will be allmost unbreakable
  17. Mt10 just takes some absolute abuse for the money I love mine But really depends what you want it for
