  1. Are you interested in a swap for electric?
  2. Like new condition Armma Kraton 6s v5 newest model, fully boxed comes with 2 x 3s Gens Ace 5000 lipos and Sky rc T100 duel charger. I only bought it in April and only used it a few times as I just don't have the time to get out with it, if you know about rc's you know these things are an absolute beast. I would prefer collection from west Yorkshire but I could add postage at cost to buyer, thanks for looking any questions please ask. **ยฃ6oo**
  3. Hey guys so I'm finding the stock dboots wheels and tyres on my kraton 6s to be a bit soft, has anyone swapped them for any others that they have used and recommend thanks๐Ÿ‘
  4. I don't own an x maxx but I use Zee and Gens ace batteries both perfectly good, Gens ace the better of the two but more expensive.
  5. Where did you get that shell from mate and did it fit straight on ?
  6. I have the Kraton and for a newbie you could run it on 4s instead of 6 plus there's it a switch on the controller to limit the power to either 50/75/100 percent, but on 6s I definitely wouldn't recommend to a newbie as its just mad especially on 100 percent power.
  7. I don't find the stock one too bad to be honest but when it comes to replacing it ill probably go with a Savox, the one you said is an absolute beast don't think you could kill that thing ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Nice starter buggy mate, as one vantage owner to another first essential upgrades I would do are the wheel nuts, battery and front bumper to a longer one that protects front arms, also check servo saver screws check after every run as these can loosen and allow the metal circlip to come loose, would personally upgrade the servo and mounts etc when you can, oh and if it flips a lot from stock like mine did lessen the pre load on the springs a bit I did this and it's like it's on rails now, happy bashing .
  9. SAVOX are a descent one and a reasonable price, have you thought about a metal case one aswell.
  10. Personally I would stay away from Maverick I think you can spend a little bit more and get a lot better r.c.
  11. Whereabouts is it at if you don't mind me asking mate
  12. Wakey is close to me I'm only in Cas if you could let me know that would be great thanks mate ๐Ÿ‘
  13. Yeah I think your right the Notorious does, god knows why the Kraton doesn't then ๐Ÿ˜
  14. Hi and welcome mate have you looked at the arrma typhon or the Hoboa hyper ? ๐Ÿ‘
  15. I can vouch for arrma my Kraton 6s is a beast and takes a good bashing I jump mine and allsorts and its not let me down so far, like said by Paul above it's when you start going daft like Talbot that they start breaking but anything would we what he does to them. Also straight out of the box on the Kraton they're was nothing i needed to add really, except a wheelie bar which you will definitely need lol, totally worth the high price tag in my opnion.
  16. Have you pulled the plug and checked the spark mate also then check fuel is getting to the carb and its not flooding also that the plugs not fouled.
  17. Hi mate I own a Kraton 6s but would pick the Xmaxx all day long over the 8s Kraton but I never was a fan of the 8s which is why I got the 6. The Xmaxx can take a lot more punishment than the 8s kraton and you would have to be proper going for it to break something from what I've seen, it will literally go anywhere you point it. It all depends on your personal preference really on what you want, but if it's a Monster truck, in its price range the Xmaxx is top of it's game I'm hoping to own one myself one day, whatever you decide good luck and look forward to seeing it ๐Ÿ‘.
  18. Hi and welcome ๐Ÿ‘
  19. From the sounds of it you've outgrown the Carnage mate time to upgrade๐Ÿ‘
  20. I use the Zee one's as said above in my Sons carnage and my Vantage both brushless https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07YD6282M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_EAVVPB7PZHRCZ7ETD4BV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 C rating is the how quickly it discharges the power the higher the number the better, Mah is like a fuel tank in your car the bigger the more petrol it will hold but obviously in a battery it's how much charge it holds, the Zee one is the largest I could find that would fit I still just use the stock charger which is fine it just takes an age to charge. The stock charger is simply plug n play but If you do get another multi charger please get proper advice on the correct settings to charge the batteries you have as getting these wrong is the main reason on how lipos set fire. Don't go down the 3s route it's plenty quick with 2s and it won't destroy your spur and other stuff, it does say it's 3s compatible but everyone on here will tell you the same. Also before your first use check all screws especially the wheel nuts mine where quite loose and if they're not tight enough will strip the inside of the wheel and round it off, but its a great car for money, if you need anymore help please ask .
  21. If your budget stretches that far I would go for the arrma kraton 6s.
  22. You are right I'm really impressed with it to be honest it's really quick and handles beautiful pops wheelies aswell ๐Ÿ‘
  23. Just bought the FTX carnage today and I've notice the rear wheels seem to bend in towards the chassis the left seems to do it more than the right I've tried to show in picture attached is this how they should be ?
