They’ve only just come out, I’m keen to hear folks impressions of them as they’re a massive upgrade over the old car

Yes, but you will need 2 longer screws for the top mount as I detailed above. -
Lots of much more affordable choices both in the UK and from sites like AliExpress, also depends on whether you want the toughness and durability of a polycarbonate body or the scale realism of an injection moulded hardbody

Change the bumper for a Zorro bumper, soooo much better and tougher, you’ll need some 20mm screws for the top mounts https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FTX-Zorro-Torro-Front-Bumper-Set-FTX6953-/194102218862?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 The stock plastic chassis is utterly rubbish and afaik you can’t just change that one piece as all the OG chassis’ I’ve seen have been onepiece, unless they’ve recently changed them - best way forward is an alloy replacement chassis which will make the car better and stronger all round https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/ftx-carnage-full-chassis-aluminium-1-set-373622 Sometimes you can buy them slightly cheaper from Chinese websites like AliExpress -
A full depth pickup bed is difficult with any truck - a shallow bed, “toolbox” or tonneau cover makes life much easier

It’s actually doing OK on the bigger wheels with the extra weight in them - 180g per wheel. Droop just makes the body rub everywhere! I am getting some arch rub with the big wheels that I didn’t get before. I may weight the smaller wheels and see how she does on them. She will now climb a 5.25 inch vertical step head on! Can you please send the footage you said you got? I’d love to see it

Quick test over the stumps with added pervy breathing as I was trying to concentrate on holding my phone and filming as well as driving…. 😂🤣
-
Have ordered a smaller pinion to make up for the larger wheels…
-
Hopefully more capable too 🤞

The shell is available separately for about £70 I think but has horrendous moulding lines - it’s such a shame as it’s a great idea very poorly executed

I really don’t need another truck but I’m still super tempted - it has great heritage and the price is a giveaway

No nonsense, yeah right….. 😂
-
Pretty much…. 😂🤣

I really am very seriously tempted and figure I’m already bought into 1/10 scale crawling in a pretty big way and can easily share wheels/tyres around etc With the DC1 as more of a trail truck in the quiver I could then concentrate on making the Sendero more crawling specific and the Carisma Rangey more of a scaler, and of course Krystal will always be Krystal…. 😂

Sometimes, it’s easy to dial in or out with the sensitivity knob, it’s really handy sometimes a hindrance others, I adjust it in or out for the conditions and what I want to achieve -
Cool, I wasn’t sure if you had kit or RTR as that’s around £400

I use it on both my Outlaw and Hyper 7 - works great and has massive range 👍
