@.AJ. I'm think that's the issue but I'm not 100% sure. I'm no mechanic and I don't wanna touch anything to investigate just cos they'll take any excuse to not have to pay out.

@m4inbrain luckily that wouldn't be an issue cos I took it into the workshop to get it checked under warranty because of these issues and they said it was the AC compressor and that they'd call me to get it replaced. But they never called me back. I haven't had time to chase it up as I've been really busy with moving into a new place and working on my degree but it seems like they didn't diagnose it properly anyways.

My hyper sste was geared 20/46 when I got it, idk how the previous owner even ran it like that for more than 2 mins. Even when I geared it down to 14/46 which is stock, it still gets extremely hot even on 4s, so maybe I do need a fan?

The whole point of rwd is that I want to be able to go and drift. Drifting is my favourite discipline of motorsport and it's had been since I was about 10. I really want to get more seat time because renting a car for drift days as I have done in the past is too expensive in the long run.

A car like the Volvo with its low power could really help me increase my skill as a drifter because of its low power, it's enough to get the tyres loose but you can only hold a prolonged drift if you know what you're doing. I'd love to learn that. 

I couldn't really care less about modern car features as I never use them anyway. Obviously I understand the safety differences but in London, you're not often going more than 20mph so it's not as big of a concern.

Yeah thats what I'm scared of, one of its biggest draws is that it's lightweight rwd and rare, so I couldn't really see myself be disappointed but you never know.

Well he claims it has a 'sport tuned servo' and a 'brushless esc' but anyone with eyes can see it's brushed. The best thing of all is that it doesn't even come with a charger. 😂😂

@pieman5 the 3200 30c pack is the one I wanna run parallel because it can't supply enough. I already run the 4400 65c by itself and it's fine. I just had a bad landing with it and it puffed a bit.

Yeah it's completely depuffed now, the heat shrink is just a bit loose from being stretched. It balance charged perfectly and all the cells are within 0.002v of each other so I'd say it's okay to test. I'll be careful but it's a shame to throw away a working lipo.

I need to check it because one battery got discharged to 3.1v while the others were discharged to 3.5v so I'm gonna look over it.

All the nanotech cells are within 0.04v of each other while the dynamic packs cells are within 0.2v of each other. 

I'm not worried about the nanotech as it has basically no puff left. The dynamic is the one that still has gas in it. I can feel the cells underneath. Im gonna cycle it a bit and see what happens.

The issue is that nobody sells these dynamic lipos so I can't even buy a new one otherwise I'd do it.

Unfortunately I can't because the amp draw is 150 amps but the lipo can only supply 95. When they're in parallel, the mah is doubled so therefore it can supply 190 Amps which is enough. Unfortunately I clocked this after I did the run lol.

Just ran a second pack through it and it's extremely puffed

I let it cool down for a bit and it's a little bit warm. I assume it's toast but it's a shame cos I run that pack in parallel with another of the same type all the time. So now that other pack is basically useless.

If Traxxas made a movie it would come in 3 parts and each part would cost £99.99 😝
