  1. If you are using the stock Tamiya ESC then no, probably not. Think Tamiya esc limit is around 22t...maybe more. Otherwise you'll need to change the esc for something like a hobbywing 1060.
  2. Didn't know that the Mavrick motors were suspect! Been thinking of getting one.....maybe that's why they're in the sale at MS ?
  3. 🀣.....BTW, ever read your messages?
  4. Goolrc & Austar are relatively cheap brand new. Have a look on ebay, you may find one "Posted from UK" ! Additional receivers are cheap too.
  5. Jack Reacher had one for sale but I think he's decided to keep it now but, you could give him a shout (might have changed his mind again 🀣....sorry Jack! )
  6. Not used them myself but I think there was a post on here not long ago, something about having to pay tax at this end.
  7. Don't know mate....I use a cut off 6mm allen key ( with a ball end ).
  8. Use one of these in my trophy truggy mate ...so much better than the pull start.
  9. I love the look of the thrasher jet boat but the price is ridiculous. Doubt you would find one 2nd hand & I guess the nearest thing to it would be the proboat River jet.
  10. F'got to say also that you may find that the outback doesn't have diffs....they are a fixed axle but, a bit of grease in there helps out πŸ‘
  11. Nice one πŸ‘ I did one similar a while ago (my outback 2 sumo post)they're quite good little trucks out on the trail. Try putting a bit of weight in the front bumper for better handling.
  12. Anyone used RC jaz recently ? Looking back on an older post (2018) people seemed happy with them but, recent trustpilot reviews aren't good ! Wanting some tamiya parts that I can't find in UK.
  13. Nice one mate πŸ‘ Glad to see that you got it up & running again. Dare to go brushless ????
  14. Personally I would say 25c would be too low for this boat. I would think more like 35c at least...possibly more. Zeee do some 50c 2200 3s for a reasonable price.
  15. My favourite band of all time is the Ramones but, I listen to all sorts really, depending on my mood! I "grew up" in the 70s/80s so if I'm listening to the radio it's Absolute 80s or radio 2. Can't stand that rap stuff though!!!!!

Keep going mate! More pictures as & when πŸ‘
  17. Etronix ET2048 should be OK for your needs. Or, pay a bit more for a waterproof one if you run in the wet.
  18. TBH....better off buying a new Hong Nor engine....same Force engine..only cheaper πŸ‘
  19. Nice project mate. Sounds like you need some thread lock on those bolts ! I remember the time I lost my air filter on my Trophy Truggy....was running on gravel at the time.....totally ruined the engine ☹️
  20. Is that going in the mini then ? Really like that mini bodyshell you have...can l ask where you bought it from?
  21. The small Goolrc one's have been OK for me....have a look on ebay & check dimensions etc, you can sometimes find them "uk stock " ....so relatively quick delivery!
  22. Looks nice that mate πŸ‘ I also had a Boomerang as my first rc.....back in the day!!! Wish I still had it !
  23. Yeah, been looking at the 3s 5500 80c packs....should be plenty good enough 🍻
