  1. Glad you guys like the video. I just like making videos here and there. No pretence, and if you can pick out any pop culture references I shove in there, all the better. So far, with the MT8, I've had a blast. Bad press for what is easily modded is unjustified in my opinion, but hey ho.
  2. When I wrote this post last night, I attached some photos but couldn't view them, they appear as small squares with a green bit in the corner, and continue to do so, so after deleting some, but adding others, I lost my rag and jacked in the post with still a few items to put on here. A sit turns out, I can see them if I view on my phone. I can only assume that cos I'm on Windows 7, the Chrome updates I'm frequently told I wont get anymore, have caught up with me. I hope this makes sense. OK guys, this is the year I finally have a bit of a clearout, so watch out for stuff appearing. I'll chuck up some pics of bits. Then, PM if you want. You know the score. Prices are in GBP, including postage (UK only, sorry non UK folks), and via paypals goods and services, and are picked from thin air, without trying to extract the Michael but not give them away either. I'm motivated as I've just had clutch work done on my car. so...Losi LST2 Rear Hubs, 1 pair. Not sure I've ever used them, but they're sans packet. £6.50 **I appear to be unable to have pics in my post** Slight awkward feeling right now. Losi LST/2 Steering Knuckles, 1 pair, used, unbroken. £5.
  3. Just about to pop a few bits up on the classifieds
  4. Lol @Redback. I will get some photos up this week. Just started to pop bits on ebay too. Springs, RPM guards, and a Mugen wing mount with backing plate for use with Muggy shock towers ( I used to race it) Gave it some large back n the day at Maxbashing and Clanfield.
  5. MT8 owners, "hellooooooooooooooo" (hears echo, then sees a tumbleweed) No serious owners then! well. since I installed RPM arms and Ti t/buckles on the rear, everything has been reliable.
  6. That could be a good idea, looks like you're only up the road. I will let you know.
  7. 1 pair of Losi step pin stadium truck tyres, in red compound, mounted to Team C rims, 12mm hex. Used for about 1 and a half meetings. Not new but still very soft. Please check photos. Will take PP goods and services only. £13 posted.
  8. Hey guys. I have an organiser full of Losi LST 2 spares. I have retired my LST2 now so these spares will remain unused. Some are used, but fine to use, like wishbones, hubs, RPM spur cases, springs, chassis components, whole diffs in casings etc, some are still in packets, like spur gears, an HD diff case. etc. Is there any kind of market for these spares? As I'm thinking of selling to regain a few bob and a bit of space in my crowded lean-to. Any advice appreciated, thanks chaps.
  9. So much bad press on the MT8. sure, it has its issues, but right now, I think there's no better time to buy one. Might have to do a vid for my channel, give it a positive spin. I don't do skate parks though, tried them about 20 years ago, not my cup of tea, just so you're aware, lol.
  10. Thanks Fred Barlow, I may take a look at that. Meanwhile, After bending a turnbuckle the other week, then heating it up and bending it back. It actually broke. I managed to get the broken bit out of the rod end. Anyway, just added a 5mm diameter pair of Lunsfords finest. Sorry about the lens flare, I'm not trying to be JJ Abrams, just how the lighting turned out.
  11. This thread's blowing up. Took the MT8 out for a bash the other day, bent a turnbuckle. Heated it up, bent it back. went out again on Saturday just gone. awkward land from airtime. The same turnbuckle sheared straight off. Just ordered a pair of Lunsfords to experiment with. So only real issue so far has been the esc issue which disappeared and hasn't come back, and this turnbuckle. Given that the MT has such bad press, I cast my mind back to when I bought my MGT, in 2004. Youtube didn't exist. The MGT went through wishbones like a dose of salts, no one stopped buying them because of it. And the turnbuckles on that where made of cheese too. Tell me I'm wrong. I'm not saying it's ok to have poor components, because Associated could have upped their game a bit on this truck considering their "Rivals" (pun intended) are the likes of Arrma and Traxxas. Just saying that even trucks that were built for the job, still needed a few bits to make them reliable.
  12. Hi ya It's 6s compatible out of the box, which would be wild. I converted my MGT to 6s many years ago, and it was utterly bonkers, and undriveable, hence my view. I've since done an LST2 BL conversion, and that is on 4s, and is quite enough. Nice to see someone having a read.
  13. Got my first proper outing out of the way once the weird esc problem disappeared. 2 sets of cells later and still in pne piece. Had a few awkeard landings, no breakages. So that's good. Still have the single Deans connector fitted too, and it hasn't melted away. Using 4s though, which I think is plenty for drivability. 6s is ok if you don't get bored of going up and down and back again on the rear wheels forever. Just my view anyway. Now I've got my 1st run out of the way, looking to getting some confidence in the truck, and havimg fun.
