  1. Shouldn't of gone to Specsavers ...

    paid £290 for new varifocals, and refused them, the distance spec is okay but unusable as readers, they are doing a new order but if they not right i will demand refund

      I went to specsavers years ago and will never go back, they cannot get anything right, started going to an independant optician, it costs a bit more but never had any problems

      the 1st time i went to spec savers many years ago they prescribed +2.0 readers for me but turned out i was only +1.25 so they did not get used

      on the back of all this i ordered some readers of ebay at the new prescription +2.25....they are to strong, seems specsavers have cocked up the eyetest as well, so i see me now having to have a yet another test at an independant, my old varifocals are +1.75 on reader and still sharp
