  1. The stock gear are reasonably durable for what they are. I've broken a rear shaft. The Injora diff gears are pretty cheap with loads of option. For what they cost I think they are well worth and builds a very tough drive train. Definitely don't right off the little Trx4m.
  2. I've built a few Trx4m's built completely from Injora parts. The issues I've had are with the servo hitting the bonnet / frame on the tarantula. That can be fixed with a different servo. Or do some chopping/ modding of the bonnet / frame. I've got the lay down servo mount to try, don't know if that will cause any problems (been busy with 1/10 stuff at the moment) The axles I've built have gone together really nicely, lovely and smooth. I did try using a different brand of hubs and heavier knuckles I bought from modelsport (neus racing I think). They will not work with injora shafts. The flange on the inside of the hub is a little deeper. I haven't used the 9mm hexes but have tried the 2-3mm longer hexes with no issues with Injora wheels and I've got quite a few sets. I have the injora wheels to take traxxas tyres, they work fine. Any issues I've had, I've contacted injora and they have always been good.
  3. I'm pretty sure there is a a group that go out with the crawlers / trail trucks. Have a look on Facebook if you have it. It might be called north west crawlers or something similar. I've been out with them in the past, good bunch๐Ÿ‘
  4. Done some more to my scx10 hard body build. Have been waiting for a few parts. Had to use a stock axial scx10 chassis as the carbon chassis had the front end shortened, so there was not enough room to fit a 540 size motor. The small brushless outrunner fits but I'm more than likely use this as a trail truck and drown it and cover it with mud. I don't think the rhino esc isn't waterproof. Probably going to use a 550 brushed motor and a 1080. I've drowned that setup loads and it doesn't care. The injora forward gearbox driveshaft to the transfer box was too short, I contacted them about this, and they said it was because I didn't use an injora chassis. I thought they were a straight copy of the axial chassis. So I had to buy another driveshaft for that. Still need to do a few more bits. I don't like the gap between the body and front bumper, so that's getting sorted one way or another. Side plate thingys might get swapped for some steel rock sliders. And probably a good few scale accessories.
  5. If I do remove the anodising I'll probably use matt lacquer. I've done it before and it's turned out quite good. It's either that or an excuse to get some more wheels.
  6. @Stormbringeroven cleaner is good for removing anodising. I used it a few times and had good results. Just not sure about gold wheels
  7. @Stormbringer Thanks mate ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Got a few hard body builds going on at the moment. This is my Trx4 with the injora jeep cherokee looking body with the tray back. Trx4 kit version 313mm. In nardo grey, pretty sure Audi will own that colour / name copyright but we all no they don't care about that in a certain part of Asia. Originally planned to do an Trx4 lcg build but ended up changing my mind. The bumper/ front servo mount turned up today from modelsport so I can now fit the front bumper and steering servo. I have used the injora lcg chassis but may end up going back to the original chassis. I don't like the gold wheels, I did order orange but here we are. So I can see the oven coming in handy. Still got a good few bits to do. I'm quite happy so far all the stock traxxas parts needed went straight on to the injora chassis, shift and lock servos bolt straight in. The radio box will need a couple of holes drilling in the side trays if you want to use stock receiver in the waterproof case.
  9. Lower rear shock mounts for my hard body build scx10. Nearly got this body to fit. The standard height shock mounts stick up to much. No doubt something else will need moving or modding and hopefully not buying anything else.
  10. @Alex97 I'm not sure to be honest. I'm sure if you contact Bob he will be able to answer. I've bought a few 3d printed parts, Bob pattended parts are top quality, excellent fit. The cp2 stock feels great with the target style grip.
  11. Great observation skills๐Ÿคฃ it's the injora gearbox. And yes the axle mounted servo will hit the motor.
  12. @Alex97 Cp2 with Bob pattended target stock.
  13. Get one ๐Ÿ‘ you won't regret it. The best 3d printed products I have seen. I have on my cp2, I got the carbine kit in the stock and longer barrel. The Bob Pattenden stock is day and night better than the standard stock. I got the cp2 target stock.
  14. Done a couple of bits to my pp750. Bob pattended stock and 16" barrel.
  15. Here's Bella our Rottweiler cross and Troy the bunny. He loves the dogs. Bella is really careful with him.
  16. Done a bit more to my hard body build. Had the body for a while and have struggled to get it to fit to any of my trucks without chopping a load of the floor pan off. Had to get a front mounted gearbox with divorce transfer case. It's a bit of a leftover, parts bin bits sorta build. Had to use an Lcg rig as a donor and buy the gearbox.
  17. It's about 6ft lbs so quite good for rats. My s200 can be a bit much, tends to drill holes. Usually I'm strictly target shooting but the rats can be difficult to control and I'm not allowing them to take over the garden.
  18. @Lone-wolfI've had issues with rats over the years. They are very clever and persistent. I picked up this PP750. I've had various air rifles and pistols. Cool little thing, 10 shot mag very quiet.
  19. Removed the chrome from the bumpers and grill. Took about four days soaking in bleach and water. I'm not sure I'll get the mirrors and wiper arms off without wrecking them.
  20. Built up some Injora axles for the k10. Bearing kit, stock ratio 24/12 diffs, brass c hubs and knuckles, brass diff covers, all Injora. Go together a treat. Injora have really upped their game.
  21. The Ftx texan bodies are good. Nice and cheap and good quality . Jconcepts do a creep body, cab only.
  22. @Gaz! Thanks๐Ÿ‘ I don't have an indoor course. I have a pile of stone I arrange in the front room. I've built a few various obstacles out of wood. I'm concentrating on my outdoor course at the moment. The Trx4m's do really good outside too. I'm always up for ideas of building crawler courses so get some pictures up ๐Ÿ‘
  23. It does say that the front links are not to be fitted with the spacers on the tarantula chassis
  24. Fitted the huge 70mm injora tyres with 1.3" wheels. This thing crawls very good, really impressed me.
