  1. Interesting choice in body panels..... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F142897692165
  2. I have had both. FZ6 and FZ1. Trust me, the extra weight from the FZ1 is not worth it. The 600's are plenty quick enough for the roads. In most case's too quick. My FZ6 demolished most fast cars. Loved the torque of the FZ1. But she was a heavy unit. I now ride a CBR600RR. It's really light, and smooth as silk.
  3. Is it a Fazer 600 or 1000?
  4. Never mind the bomber! That's a tidy looking bike
  5. I'd be wary of putting the larger diameter carnage wheels on the outlaw. You can't gear down because you have the choice of 17 or 23t pinion gear. And it will put more strain on the drivetrain which is not the strongest. My outlaw rips up tricky hill climbs easier than my yeti due to a lot less weight. That's on the stock outlaw tyres.
  6. Hiya mate. I can send post you another stock ESC. I do have one more. But I would recommend getting rid of the stock dual motor setup and run a brushless system. You save a lot of weight by going down to one motor and battery. Nothing silly 540 / 550. 2s lipo would be fine. And no reason why the ESC shouldn't work with a 2.4ghz radio.
  7. I ordered one a good few months ago. Got bored waiting, so I got the carbon chassis as mentioned in an earlier post. And the next day ally chassis's are in stock
  8. The carbon chassis turned up today, thanks modelsport ?. Certainly looks nicer than the anodized blue aluminium chassis. But there doesn't seem to be much meat (or carbon in this case) around the mounting bracket for the rear arms. I will get it built and see what happens.
  9. Ordered a carbon chassis. I'll just have to drive it like I normally do and see what happens. The other plastic chassis's I have broken are the usual landing awkwardly on one wheel on a hard surface.
  10. Check out the brave squirrel. The picture is crap but I had to grab my phone quickly. My youngest Rottweiler Ralph (11 months) is really friendly, so he was just watching through the window.
  11. Has anyone had any experience of the carbon chassis? I have broken two plastic chassis plates. Both in the same place. And there seems to be no stock off the aluminium chassis.
  12. Took my Kraton to my local stone quarry. Not surprised something eventually give up. It was cartwheel after cartwheel. And because of the dry weather the ground is like concrete.
  13. I'd try these if.... https://www.modelsport.co.uk/fastrax-1-8-eagle-tread-mounted-on-8-spoke-black-2-/rc-car-products/405165 If you're mainly running on tarmac. Cheap enough to kill off. Mini pin type tyres generally don't last very long getting battered about on tarmac.
  14. Certainly not doubting your bike maintenance ? . You seem a meticulous guy. The Fazer will be as good as new. Fit for loads more miles.
  15. Good job you noticed. Chains can do some damage. Chain broke on my 640 KTM. Locked the back wheel, smashed the clutch slave cylinder to pieces and scared the crap out of me. Far better to replace chains at regular service intervals. Glad all is well bar worn chain and sprockets.
  16. Always a possibility as I'm an RC addict?
  17. That bike was rapid on the back twisty roads. But nearly impossible to ride sensibly. This is my current bike Surprisingly comfortably on the road for a sports bike.
