  1. That would be great if you do, last piece of my TL01 puzzles
  2. Looking for one Tamiya TL01 driveshaft/dogbone if anyone has one please. 39mm I believe. Used or new no problem 👍
  3. My Dad bought a F150 recently and the performance out the box was impressive. Shocks bind a bit so expect to rebuild them but the long wheelbase seemed no issue. Loads better than my D90
  4. Thank you for the offer but i'm after something on wheels ideally.
  5. Hi all, I'm looking for a hauler bag like the Fastrax mega hauler. Anything considered. Just can't bring myself to pay over £100 for one. Located Maidstone, Kent. Thanks, Andy
  6. Looks really nice that, very neat work. Interior makes such a difference, do you mount it to the body or the chassis itself?
  7. You could use a basic Mustang body from HPI or Matrixline etc and then buy add on arches. SRC make lots of different arches for the drift stuff so you might have some luck there. They also do the dummy turbos and exhausts etc for the bonnet 👍
  8. Was not expecting a Terra Scorcher re-release, very nice lineup so far
  9. That's fair enough if you fancy a challenge. Personally i'd start with an electric chassis as the gear types will be correct and the weight is lower. Nitro chassis are usually metal and so a bit heavy. Something like a Tamiya TT01 might be a good starter chassis? Spares are very easy to come by and lots of Hop-Up options if you fancy something blingy in the future. If you want a good budget RWD chassis then the Sakura D4 is quite good value. Lots of options out there, the world is your oyster!
  10. There are lot's of options for drift kits. Most common scale is 1/10th so i'd aim for that. It all depends on where you plan to use the car and what for? Most clubs are indoors and run competition spec 2wd cars, or for some fun skidding around a car park you can pick up a cheap 4wd chassis. Most important thing is to just have fun with it!
  11. Lots of potential in these two. I wander which one I’ll be buying!
  12. I agree, MST silver dot is the preferred choice at most tracks. Ben at slide dynamics RC is your man, based in Kent. His new website is up and running 👍
  13. Only just seen this but this is beautiful. Not my favourite family of Tamiya buggies but this just looks right 👍
  14. Thats great, I don't mind used ones, it's only really going to be a shelfer/light runner. If you could send me a pic of the bits and a price when you get time that'd be great 👍
  15. Hi Gaz, sounds great thank you. I have the drive cups the wheels go on I think, but if you have a pair I’ll take them just in case. I need the actual steering hubs the bearings go into, the drive cups like you say, and the two dog bones. The screws I’m after are the big Tamiya ones that hold the steering hubs in. They use them on the TL01 and M chassis cars for sure, possibly others
  16. Hi all, I'm looking for a pair of front hubs and driveshafts for an M03 Mini. TL01 should be the same from memory. Can be new or used, not fussy. Ideally after the screws that hold them in but not essential. Thanks, Andy
  17. Sounds like a plan, shocks do make a difference, my FXX isn't handling well at the moment, but my friends' with alloy shocks is 10x better. I still run a budget transmitter and have no issues, but that is a personal preference. Turnbuckles all round are a must. The RMX is a great chassis, something I would definitely buy if I didn't already have so much money in my D4. Happy skidding 👍
  18. Hi, I have a D4 and a MST FXX-D. Both RWD. A lot of the entry level MST kits come with a solid rear spool and no diff. There are option parts to make them into ball diffs, which is what I did with my FXX and works perfectly. It all depends where you will use the car and if it is worth you having a rear diff. I ran my D4 for about 2 years with a solid rear diff, before upgrading to the ball diff, and it doesn't make a huge difference on carpet. My advice is try it with the kit parts first and upgrade as you see fit in time.
  19. Love the paint effect, very interesting 👍 How did you do that?
  20. One of the nicest Tamiya buggies, great build thread thank you for sharing
  21. Hi all, I'm looking for a 25mm (I think) width offset adaptor for JConcepts Tribute wheels. One of mine has started to round off inside so just need one, but would happily buy spares. Ideally silver but anything would be useful. Pic shows the piece, it's the widest one... Thanks, Andy
  22. I think D4 parts are getting hard to find in the UK now, especially the AWD model. RC Geeks would be worth a look as they had loads, and on sale for a while too. Failing that you may have to look overseas
  23. There used to be a US manufacturer of bodies called Team Bluegroove, i'm sure they did the Micro bodies... https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/teambluegroove
  24. There used to be the abandoned Maritime Tarmac track near an army place Chatham way from memory. Someone on here might know a bit more accurately 👍
