  6. Created a series cable so i can destroy the pirate 10 with 4s. Also did some work to progress the Lathes overhaul, previous owner (s) have had a crunch or two, so notched and brazed some brass pegs into the slideways rack. Next step to file / shape them to profile. Never done this before so all experimental for me Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  9. Had a little go at making a led light for my outlaw. Convert a £4 led torch. Took the torch to pieces Found the led strip Re-mounted part of the led strip into the torches reflector unit. Filled all the back of it in with black milliput It ran off 3 AAA's so wired it into a 5v regulator ( which when multi meter put out 4.65v) It does get warm put i'll see what the life span is like over time. One got a pitch black test in the garage, will get a running one shortly. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  13. Check the grub screws on each of the centre drive shaft cups are secure. As if these loosen then they'll just rotate on the shaft. Both are under the top plate with 6 screws on, one at the gearbox end and one at the front diff end. If its not them then it'll possibly be the front diff with missing teeth on the crown gear Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. If its the oem speed controller try chucking ftx or cml an email and advise of the problem, they may ask for when and where you bought it. They sent me a replacement brushed motor when i did it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  20. Bashed the hobao pirate 10 brushless today, got a good run times on the hw4068 2250kv motor and a 5200mah lipo, lasted a good hour+ walk with my daughter Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Have a look on here for outlaws exploded diagram as i may give a little more detail http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/manuals?brand=FTX Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Mines only going to be used on a small pillar drill i have, it'll allow me to hold something in place and adjust the X or Y axis when i drill. I'll also probably try and push my luck and see if it'll cope with some really light duty milling. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. One of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282104628990 Only cheap but should do for what i need. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. Had a bash last night and still losing sensor mode (but better than it was) I'm starting to think its the floureon lipos as its practically the only thing i haven't changed. But then i did pair the 2 5200mah 2S up so should have 10400mah, they should be able to provide enough power together. Scratching my head now. Could it be the flysky rx causing an issue? Or am i running the motor in the wrong direction? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  25. Going see if i can get a test run on the outlaw today at temple newsam, its been awhile
