  1. Will only tell for sure if you pull the engine apart and measure. But I wouldn't bother. Difference between the two will be negligible. Just enjoy it till it breaks Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  2. Oh there are a few very very nice toys on there. More so when they go into off road too soon [emoji108] Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  3. Rcbutcher. Been a long time hope you are well mate? FG's and on road is still a learning curve to me at the moment tbh but have to say fit and finish is exceptional was just staring at it for ages [emoji23] Brushless ones look cool but I still love the rasp of a oily wasp gas power. Shells vary in wheelbase, mines a 510 which limits shell choice but still few very cool bodies out there. More for 535 though. But the drift version comes with special tires and quite a few upgrades over the touring version This video sold me on it Will throw up some more build pics when Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
  4. Been out of the RC game a while.... But it never leaves ya ... Does it? Always wanted an FG after seeing one when I was younger. Recently saw a YouTube video of the FG drift car and ordered one. Got it through rapid-racing, have to say Abi and Adam were great and honestly best customer service I've ever had. Highly recommended, they are moving into off road large scales to this year along side there on road range [emoji108] Anyways it arrived today. Took a few pics before I had to hide it from the misses [emoji23][emoji23] Will be getting stuck into it soon. Here's how it come today along with some upgrades/extras I ordered along side it. OK that's interesting. Will keep an eye out to see how it plays out. Lovely truck you have though AJ. See the odd pics on various fb pages, instantly recognisable. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Have you managed to try the vipers with km beadlocks? I got some new 5t vipers cheap for my rcmk xcr. Just seeing how u got on before mounting them. I have km/silverback/area rc alloy beadlocks to choose from so not sure what's best to use. It's a hateful job so doing it numerous times doesn't appeal. Thanks Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  13. I have a km baja... well it's fully upgraded and only thing km left is rear uprights. Also have an rcmk xcr 1000. Which is similar to a dbxl but better quality. They are chalk and cheese though. Rcmk is 4wd and easy to rag to the limit than a baja. But baja is bit more tail happy and rewarding to drive well. Either way you decide there money pits. Big money pits. I bought my baja well used for 170... have proceeded to sink circa 1200 into it. Rcmk didn't need as many upgrades but has a similar amount into it total... bear that in mind as you WILL want to modify them. Also have you any mates with them? Can get lonely out on your own, but this forum is good for like minded people to meet up run with etc. Kangrilla makes a valid point about areas to run. When these are travelling at 50ish mph they eat up the real estate very quickly. They are epic fun though. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  14. It's the only place in UK as far as I'm aware and there cheapest and offer exceptional customer service. I'd definitely recommend them. As said before you will need a killswitch at a minimum on top of the price of car these vary between 20 and 50 quid. Personally use a switchblade which are around 30. 15. Ohhhh bugger sorry Mike yea. Been so busy with my new arrival. She's been ill. I've been living on minutes of sleep per day and more relentless energy drinks than consumed at Glastonbury. Not had much time for rc's. First time been on forum on a while. U still needing them? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
