      Haha, labour would have increased taxes for EVERYONE! Those who works that is. Small business would have had to decreased their staff as they'll have to find them self another £2.50 an hour to pay them and bigger companys wouldn't recruit as much.  I didn't agree with the snap election but I can see why she did it tho.

      @Alex97 so you agree with the torys plan to tax the lower earners, but not raise it for the highest earners?

       

      I would rather everyone got a tax increase, and tax the rich slightly more, than to say, we won't rule out raising tax for the working class, but those who earn the most won't see a rise in tax.

      Yes. People who earn £80000+ already contributes more to the system than someone who earns an average wage. Why should they be taxed extra for having a better job? Do you think that they just sit on all their money, no they spend so in turn they're boosting the economy while still paying 20% vat on their purchase.
