      Yeah it's bit simplistic to just say tax the rich more, they already do pay more because they buy higher value goods and therefore provide more in VAT, probably spend more on fuel for the gas guzzling showwagons, pay higher council tax etc. Go much higher, they become resident elsewhere, we lose big money into gov coffers and you stifle innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. The biggest problem is everyone wants more, more from the NHS, more from the police, more council services but no one wants to pay more tax. Everyone wants schools to give more, do more and send everyone to uni but no one wants to pay the bills that come with all that.

      As I say, no party has all the answers or they'd have been voted in with a massive majority. It would be nice to think labour and cons could form a coalition and pick the best bits of both manifestos but lets face it, that ain't never gonna happen.
