Tamiya M03 race car, I have built it to my local club spec but I'm yet to run it having only just finished it. The shell isn't Tamiya but suits the M03 chassis well. The decals were meant for something completely different but they suit the RS1 shell perfectly! The rear spoiler is from the Alfa 155 touring car but again looks just right on the little Audi. And the inspiration for the shell

I started sorting my spares out today and came across a ta-02 chassis that I'm yet to use. After swapping the rear arms round I did this!

Hey there, does the older Tamiya Civic have it's window masks?

I started restoring this classic but have changed my mind and would like to sell it on to fund my current TL-01LA touring car. This has brand new tyres, brand new bearings all round, brand new rear axle gaitor and the hop up aluminium front uprights. The shell is original monster beetle. This is not new and has seen some action. It has had a repair although its very well done. The nose cone is new and from a sand scorcher. It comes with new light buckets and new indicators. There are no light lenses. The chassis has been painted metallic black and looks fantastic! The rear shock mounts would need replacing, they are original and have cracked. Also, the drivers side rear body mount is not original, I mocked it up quickly for the pictures. Also included are a brand new 540 motor, a brand new msc should you wish to install period electronics and everything else in the pictures. I have never driven it but it will be a fantastic car for somebody to finish off. I'm looking for

Would you do the shell for

It is absolutely brilliant! I've put many miles on this thing and until yesterday all was fine. I took it for a bash at my local park, it handled jump after jump with no dramas until I hit a tree at quite some speed and snapped a rear upright. Surprisingly little damage given the speed I was doing at the time! Only thing I'd suggest is upgrading the standard shocks as they are a bit spongey. I used Absima on mine as they don't break the bank but have worked great on my fleet of Tamiya's. Go buy one matey

It's much better with the uprated shocks, the standard ones were a bit naff. Goes well though! I think I might get some better tyres but otherwise I'll leave it as it is.

Took my Helion out for a quick blast today. Also has aluminium shocks fitted and light bar that I'm yet to wire up.

Hello chaps, I bought myself a Helion Volition after the review in this months RRCI magazine and I'd like to improve it a bit if I can. The standard shocks are not the best so any pointers as to what I can use to replace them would be great. Has anybody on the forum modified anything else on one of these? Any hints and tips will be greatly appreciated.

Finished my Tamiya TL-01. Sadly the previous owner of the body shell didn't apply the decals very well so I'm on the lookout for a new set.

Those Escudo shells are stunning! I did see one for sale a while back, wish I had bought it.

My drifty Trans Am-

I'm just getting into the drift scene and after a few weeks of making do with drift tyres on my son's touring car I thought I'd buy something a little better. The shell and wheels will be going soon to be replaced with something a bit less drifty looking!

I'd agree with XV, if it was the Grasshopper you lusted after, go get one! They are great little cars if a tad underpowered but that can easily be fixed. Failing that I would also suggest the Mad Bull. My son, my Daughter and myself have one each and we love them!

I love my Lego although just recently I have sold a huge amount of my collection. Roughly 500 figs have gone in the last few months to fund my rc addiction! At one point we had a Lego room until my little girl finally needed her own room so I sold my entire Star Wars collection and many more sets too. I still have a large collection but nothing like I used to have. I mainly build moc's and custom minifigs now. This is one of mine-

Our three Tamiya Mad Bulls-

My 5yr old Daughter drove her mad bull for the first time this afternoon, she loved it but I'm going to pop a slower motor in as it was a bit too quick for her.

I have them on my Rising Fighter and Baja Champ, they are much better than the standard ones-

Well my boys Mad Bull is pretty standard, will be replacing the msc with a new esc this weekend and he'll be getting some 2.4ghz radio gear at the same time. Aside from an RC bearings kit that's all that has been done. This is my little girls one. It started as a Fighter Buggy but has Bush Devil wheels and tyres and a Mad Bull shell. It has had Mad Bull front and rear shocks fitted since the pic too and another RC bearings kit. All that's left for this one is some Barbie pink paint on the shell (she's five and loves pink so I couldn't say no!) No pics of mine yet as it is still in the box but parts I have already bought are yet another RC bearings kit, Absima front and rear shocks, Wild Willy (I think) chrome wheels and a Fighter Buggy RX body shell as I really like those, a sport tuned motor and steel pinion gear, Tamiya esc and some 2.4ghz radio gear. Just need a steering rod as I used my new one in my little girls car. I'll pop some pics up when I start it ;-)

I turned mine into a Mad Bull/ Bush Devil combination for my little girl to use. My son has a Mad Bull and I'm just about to start building my MISB one. They are fantastic cars!

Just to throw something else into the mix, have you considered Tamiya? The Mad Bull is so much fun, are cheap to buy and parts are everywhere! I'm currently building this for my five year old daughter- Just the paint to go now. She started off with my Grasshopper and loved it so this is an upgrade from that. My ten year old son has one as do I. I really cant recommend them enough! They go anywhere and take a good thrashing and so far have held up to everything two children can throw at them!

Popped some on road wheels/tyres and aluminium shocks on my Tamiya Baja Champ!
