How much more are you prepared to pay for same product from a UK based retailer, over one sourced from abroad? In % terms? I'm looking at a truck that was £369 here a couple of months back, but now seems to be 399 from same seller. I'd like to support them, as a UK business, and would defo have done so if it was still 369, but the same rig from the US, posted, with VAT & fees, comes out at only £360 (equiv), saving me 40 quid... Quite a tempting saving. What would you do?

So i ordered a motor from a company on 28/4 and i still dont have it. Paid via paypal, could possibly file a claim. They are stating that the motor is custom made, and that i cant return it. What should i do? wait? or file a claim?

Since when can an eBay seller just close a return without justification?
I bought a bed and less than 5 weeks later, it's basically falling to bits, it has a really strange bolt system holding it together and it's just not reliable and all the main bolts are backing out.
I opened up a return on eBay and the seller just closed it, without eBay stopping them.
Is this how it works now?
I paid via bank rather than PP, because I am trying to avoid PP, so I assume I will have to contact my bank? eBay have washed their hands of it.

Sent out 8 messages yesterday regarding parts, not a single reply today, I really hate ignorant people.
If you have something for sale, make the effort to reply even if it's sold.

Usual farce - if your in the midlands don't deal with Sandicliffe - possibly the worst service i've ever had from a company. Promised vehicle back for 16.30, returned to me at 18.15 - leaving me stranded at work since 3. Booked for service and MOT - low and behold they MOT'd first, and failed her on a bulb (which service should have picked up) and two rear tyres very close. £16 for a bulb change and £120 tyres and pass. Some recommendations - needless to say they'll be rectified at a different dealership - my patience with them has run out. Rant over.

A local dealership to me dealing with mainly 3-5 year/very low mileage cars told me they like to MOT cars first and fail them on silly things (bulbs / wipers)and then correct for free or part of service and retest for free as to many first time MOT passes look bad to VOSA and they get spot checked to often.
My old car always failed on number plate bulbs.

BT are unbelieveable.
I pay £50/m for our internet and phone with free weekend calls.
They actually put it up by £2.49 a couple of months ago.
Now I am switching with EE, they've called me today offering me a better deal for £29/m, I said to the woman on the phone I'm not at all happy about the fact they can offer me it so cheap yet they are happy to take £50/m off me, then actually increase the bloody price.
Still going with EE, even if it is £4/m more, purely on principle that BT are a bunch of robbing crooks and that was the last nail in the coffin.

Windows 10 .... why, since the last update...have you messed up my sound! Constant volume fluctuations which I can 'fix' by toggling effects on and off.....every day!
Well..suppose it could be worse. It could be a hardware fault. But I could at least fix that permanently. Googling it seems to show it's quite a common issue. Trying to work out now which update did the damage to roll it back

I work in IT and turn off fast boot - fixes 90% of windows 10 issues I get called to. your computer will take a bit longer to boot.

* note after the big updates you will have to redo this.

Can't understand why people have the best offer on eBay if they won't accept an offer.
Offered £170 for an item that regularly sells around £180-190, just to try my luck, he has it listed at £199, it gets declined, I offer £175 with a note, saying instead of declining, counter offer what you're willing to accept and it gets declined again.
Moron, I'll buy elsewhere.

Just got wind of this, although he says it's suitable for over 15kgs, but I'm sure the paperwork he was reading stated less than 15kgs. Either way, here's the Voltz ESC.

Money right down the drain.
