  1. You can mod it for long dampers to get some extra travel/droop.

Quick little build because I'm going to Thailand in November to ride round in tuk tuks.
  3. Still haven't bothered with the new 4wd Saint Dragon, don't think I will but I have bought a new Saint Dragon body and I have the choice of the original red decals or the new blue ones when I paint it.

Made a little video of the time machine: Might have to redo it because the focus is off.

Completed it this morning. Really enjoyable build. I chose to go with the BTTF 3 version.

Time to make a start on this before my next RC builds.
  8. Just finished the body for this one today. Chassis is XV01.
  9. I like the look of that, would've been nice to see it on the TC01 chassis but I guess the TT02 is a bigger seller as it's a lot cheaper.
  10. Had some time today so got some more building done. Happy I've got a couple of tricky loops set up but as soon as I'm ready and the table is cleaned up of the mess, my battery dies.
  11. No price listed but I bet it makes Tamiya trucks look like good value. Does look good though.
  12. These are my three sprocker spaniels. The older two are great but the puppy is mental.

I enjoyed that build, nice big model when it's done as well.
  14. The last few nights I've taken my tools and a beer down the bottom of the garden and put this together. It's not finished yet and there are something I'll probably change but it's a good way to waste an hour or so before it gets dark.
  15. Dried it out over night and it flies! That's after hitting a tree and nearly losing it to the river. Then my dog snatched it out the air and dumped it in the river. Fortunately it's not a very deep river. Drone death.mp4
  16. Looks proper cool, bet it shifts with that brushless motor in there.
  17. I tore up the old deck from the garden and built a table out of it. I'm planning on making a table top course for my scx24. Table is about 3m x 1.4m so fairly big. This will live outside so obstacles will mostly be made of any wood that I have lying round. Anyone else built a table top course? I'm looking for inspiration from obstacles.
  18. It's m class the tt02 wheels would be too big. Might see if I can find a suitable set though.
  19. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Thanks
  20. First time I've used these so thought I'd show you what I done with them. I started on the outside with 3mm tamiya masking tape for curves. This usually leaves a nice sharp edge. Once I was happy with the position of the lines on the outside I followed these lines with the same tape on the inside. The circles for the doors were cut out from tamiya masking sheet using a proper circle cutter/punch thing which just happened to be the right size. Window and light masks were supplied with the body. 20mm tamiya masking tape was used to mask off for the different colours. I masked off the area I wanted to paint blue. Then got busy with the PS- 43 translucent orange. Removed the masks and accidentally took the side windows with them. After creating new window masks from some tamiya mask sheet and a jpg of the kit mask sheet it was time to lay down some PS-39 translucent light blue. Mask off And back with PS-41 bright silver hoping to get a metallic look to the finished paint. Looks like I missed a photo for the next step which was off with the door circle masks and a few coats of PS-1 white, for the door number and to keep the bright colours shining when the black goes down. Then it was back in the drying cupboard for a few hours. Final colour PS-5 black for the lines and general backing. Off with the last of the masks and protective film and time to have a look at it in the sun. Sweet! The rest is just the kit decals and a few extras from Screenprint Digital. Time to fit the shiney bumpers and bits, whack it on a waiting M08 chassis and get some photos in the sun. I was hoping the blue would be a bit lighter but I like the contrast against the orange so I'm not complaining. A was also worried the decals would look a bit flat, but again, I'm happy with them. Maybe I'll add some more eventually, there's loads left on the sheet.
