I really fancy another Carisma Scale Adventure SCA-1E 2.1 want the LR body for my cc-02 chassis and the chassis for a custom 4WS crawler type thing but the memories of the last one I had is making me really have second thoughts but would be overall more financially sensible 🤔

Swapped the stock gear box for a Elements one, larger tooth count pinion gear, locked both diffs, lowered the entire chassis, lengthened the wheelbase, lowered the center of gravity by changing the suspension geometry and swapping stock plastic parts with after market metal ones, swapped out the suspension for larger and longer ones but used nitro fuel tubing to restrict the amount of travel and used very think suspension fluid, swapped out the stock plastic prop shafts for hardened steel ones, strengthened and altered the strabilizers, swapped out the stock barrel springs for very hard barrel springs, and used a 6000KV motor and 140Amp ESC and motor combo - and of course messed around with settings such as punch and everything else via the Bluetooth app.
My mates, which has probably only got the Tamiya Rock Socker body shell, and body mounts at most made by Tamiya, with everything else either custom made, or made for other models even brands of RCs, hits almost 80mph on tarmac, and looks like a slightly modified CR-01 Rocker Socker, instead of a completely custom build. He's easily put a good few thousand into it, his ladder frames for example instead of being the black anodised aluminum one that come with the CC-02 or the plain aluminum one that come with the CR-01 or made out of carbon fiber, and though while the same shape, are a different profile, straight instead of ''U'' if you where to cut it at the cross section.
The ladder chassis design while being extremely strong - a number of the YouTube channels I watch that test RCs until destruction have said that they have never managed to bend a vertical ladder chassis as used on the CC-02, CR-01, HPI Savage and many other off road RCs, allows for a hell of a lot of modification and custimisation straight out the box with the parts included in the kit.

@Stormbringer it’s around 12 to 16 weeks so not too long but apparently Kia are only making the XCeed to order now that’s what the dealer said anyway
@Grogg I hope this one in October but saying that I know someone who is still waiting for their new car to be delivered been waiting for 7 months now hopefully that won’t happen to me but with my luck I won’t be surprised 🤣

@Shergar don’t be saying over a year you need to keep that sort of info to yourself I’m already getting impatient and I only ordered it yesterday 🤣
