    I had the original and it was fun although the odd hex shaped rear drive shafts wore out with you just looking at them The only cure I could afford at the time was to stiffen the rear end up to reduce the suspenion movement that was causing the wear. I assume they have cured/fixed this with the new version?

    It makes the Phantom behave more like a quad that has a Naza flight controller installed. Bit confusing as the Phantom does have a variant of Naza installed but as it is it acts a bit differently to a "stock" Naza flight controller unless you switch it to Naza mode. Does that help?

    I am happy to wait to see if there is a 4.0 verison to come but it does seem odd the 3.0 was only out very breifly before they considered the 4.0 I dare say the 4.0 wont be massively different but probably more expensive Looking for a bit of a project over the darker evenings ready for when the weather starts to get better again.

    Eh? Wasn't it only released about 6 months ago,if that? I dont ever recall anyone actually having stock of it. I did wonder if that might have been the case given the 4.0 buggy coming up.

    Never used UPS myself,dont send anything by courier if I can help it,I use Royal Mail or Parcel Farce although I have never had a problem with either and at least with Parcel Force you can go to the Post Office to send it rather than wait in all day for a courier NOT to turn up to collect it!

    On a side note I think the EC5 connector is pretty good. Very easy to solder which for someone like me is a bonus

    I was a bit bored this afternoon (pretty much as always) so after dismantling the Star Wars sets yesterday I came up with this. I had the grey base board already but pretty much everything else has just come from the Final Battle SW set with maybe the odd 1x1 tile in a couple of places.The Prof. is trying to get rid of his latest failed experiment Extended the trash area as well.Spare Snowball in there feeding on some cakes that have been thrown away,there are also cake "stuck" to the wall where someone has been throwing them around There is one grey brick that is in the wall that would mean me taking it apart more than I am happy with so I turned it into a light,also added an outdoor tap.

    Whatever you use keep the Wifi turned off. There is a small chance it could interfere with a 2.4ghz transmitter/receiver.

    Now working 32 hours a week but only doing 4 hours on a Monday and Tuesday and then having Wednesday as a day off still makes me feel like I am skiving :)

      make the most of it, you never know they may decide you need to do 50 hrs for half the hourly rate, including Saturdays.

      Dont get me wrong I chose to go upto 32hrs from 16hrs as I get quite bored sometimes :(

      However only working 8 hours in 3 days still feels pretty lazy although I then do an 8 hour days for 3 days which makes up for it :)

    It NEVER ceases to amaze me how Paypal hold onto your money until you speak up and complain and then it is suddenly available.

    Sold something a week ago and was told the funds were on hold for 21 days (no idea why) I got fed up today and ranted to them via Facebook and a few minutes later the funds are now able to be withdrawn,coincidence or what?

      £140 not been that amount in in one go for a while.Like I said though odd I couldn't withdraw it till I complained then less than 1 minute after I had an email saying the funds were available.

    Have you actually taken the front diff apart to see what is going on inside the case though? There could be something inside (very unlikely) or a gear may have stripped a tooth and that is jamming it up.

    SCX10 is a good choice,loads of stuff available for it. Only thing is the RTR versions have plastic shock and steering parts whereas the kit ones tend to be metal.

    I bought this on Thursday 22nd October through the Argos store on ebay when there was a 20% offer on,I paid £199 at the time.However when I went to collect it I picked it up okay but wasn't given any form of receipt?Obviously I have a Paypal receipt but I dont have a paper receipt as it were.I bought this before getting my Samsung Galay Edge Plus phone and to be fair the camera on the phone is close the camera in quality it is hardly worth me having both.Boxed with all leads,insytructions etc as if you were buying it new.I am away all day Wednesday 28th so cant post or answer any questions that day.Price reflects that there is no paper receipt.Any questions please ask.
