    Have a spare brushless ESC as decided the bomber is staying brushed so that means I have to buy another car to use this ESC as it's the only sensible option ?

    Just paid someone for a game via PayPal and they are saying they won't accept it because I didn't send F&F (I covered the fees so they got the full amount) because they got scammed before... Seems a bit backwards to me. Just told them to refund me and forget about it

      No not on here, I never have problems with buying selling on here! It was a code for a download so obviously I am no way paying without any protection as they could just not send it/its already been used

    I'm sure the modders amongst us may have seen this already.....

     

    This is why I stopped doing recoveries for gta5 like two years ago....rockstar closed the net on online mods slowly but surely with the help of Sony.....seems epic are going straight for the modder himself.....guess it serves him right for making YouTube videos on it....

     

    I thought the golden rule was never expose yourself whilst your actively modding game files??

      Not sure how that works... Say you buy a RC (or a real car) modify it and sell it on you don't get sued by the people who made it in the first place?

    Lmao, typical, needed the dremel to chop a bit out of a bumper, only for it to get hot when running only for about 30 to the point I couldn’t hold it.

    now it’s died and won’t work.

    so time for a new dremel if someone ever buys my mini-t.....

      No one stocks the size of the one I need apart from in stainless :/ one of the centre diff bolts is rounded so need to get a replacement before I drill it out. Looks like stainless is my only option other than a $200 lunsford titanium kit worth more than the truck :huh:

    Why do loads of sellers on ebay have  the "or best offer" but then if you make an offer they just reply with the full price? why bother saying you take offers

      twice recently once with the "castle" motor, £28 ono so offered £25 seller responded £28, I offered £26 seller responded £28.

      Then I just offered £7 for 2 items that sell for £3.90 each with free postage so probably makes them more money but they just respond with the full price, why waste everyones time if you are never going to accept any offers lower than the BIN price :rolleyes:

      Worst case I have of that is I still have a carbon RC18 chassis i bought probably 9-10 years ago and never got round to buying a RC18 to fit it to... has moved house with me 4 times :lol:

      Tubeless is the way to go really but wouldn't be easy with those wheels probably. I have had bike tyres that cost more than the ones I put on my car :lol:

      Specialized tyres are the best ones for the money, if its just for general riding about get something like the fastrak or ground control and it will be a big improvement

      They are awful and try to kill you lol. They probably bought it from the shop I used to work in and I had a bike with those tyres myself and they have no grip at all and are paper thin so puncture very easily. You can get something decent for not a huge amount of money but will make a massive difference

    A big thank you to EBay for swift resolution of refund, due to an underhand seller never dispatching item, once involved was sorted in under an hour !!. What adds insult to injury, this seller recently joined this forum !!, a very helpful mod has been involved from start and I am sure they will deal with it appropriately. :good:

      I am going through the same thing, bought a steering wheel for my car and paid they said something was delayed with paypal then just stopped responding to my messages and have sent nothing whilst having my money for the last few weeks!

    Where is the best place for some cheap chinese brushless motors?

      yeah it wont be but ok for testing it out. Can probably just gear it up loads if I wanted as should have waaaay more torque
