    Just noticed where the throttle/brake servo is placed , have you run the motor yet and how hot was the servo getting from the radiating heat from the engine ?.

    Yes looks a real good job , I’ve not had the nitro side out for 18 months , so need to get my fingers warm again .

    If the battery is a nicd or a NiMH , then yes this could get the battery charging again, by putting it on charge multiple times .

    My lad owns the trophy truggy mydoddy built , it’s never missed a beat , but saying that he has a standard trophy truggy and had no problems with that either. The only mod the standard has on is the 17mm hex conversion , he uses the two truggys the same , ie. bashes them .

    It sounds like you would need to adjust the exponential if your transmitter has this function Positive and negative Expo values are available. A positive Expo value results in the center being less sensitive (desirable most of the time) while a negative value increases the sensitivity around center (normally not used).

    I would also try some switch cleaner if the battery’s don’t work as dust and grime can get in over time .

    Cheers J taken from your idea , the magnets in the tray give the helping hand arms stability. the tray was from Lidl 2 for a fiver on there magnetic items 6 arms for £2.54 and 10 croc clips for 99p China .

    Yep f4.1 .25 engine , the 4.6 had a black crankcase if I remember right , and not a k4.6 .

    Why is it the only bolt size you don’t have is the one you need to fix the motor to the mount .

    If If you mean the dx4s firmware then yes you can do it yourself , it uses an sd card on the handset .

    The latest firmware for the dx4s is dsm2 & dsmr , no longer dsm my tx is running fw r2.1 not tried a Chinese or orange dsm2 as yet , if I come across one to try I’ll update .
