Makes no different in a TX, I use a 1100mh 6 cell nimh or a 1800mah 2s Lipo and they do exactly the same job

I hate these sort of sellers, description says item location is Manchester yet when you look at their feedback it says member in China. Why is there the need for desception like this?

    2. turok007

      turok007

they could be in the UK. but they use the china for a tax dodge.

      conchp

sorted now mate, new gaskets all round, she runs fine now, factory settings, now just going to look int tuning it.

  10. baja on stock needle settings, but when started it revs high, if i turn the idle screw in it just slows then cuts?

    1. Rover Man

      Rover Man

Screwing the idel speed screw in should speed up the revs. Sounds like you have massive air leak somewhere and reading your threads id not be surprised if that engine is scrap. When the carb came loose it will suck dust in and ruin the head/piston not to mention the damage from incorrectly fitting the piston ring. Your best bet is take it to rossmods if thats your closest LS shop and get them to check and set it up for you

    3. evssv

      evssv

Yeah U can leave em ticking over for a whole tank..45+mins with no issues... not that U would ever do this...

    4. conchp

      conchp

ahah left it idleing for 25 min let it cool then took it out on the field no more than half throttle, cut out after 20 min boiling hot, looking in the filter one of the 2 screws going into the carb was very loose and the filter had a clear gap between it and the carb, im guessing the air leak lead to this, also been told this on here by a few

  16. whats a servo saver? ahaha

    1. Oh How Original

      Oh How Original

Usually it's like a spring loaded mechanism that if your wheels take a hard impacts, it doesn't jolt the steering linkage and servo horn, the spring takes the impact and flexes.

    2. conchp

      conchp

      ohhhhh cheers ahah

    3. shdaxner

      shdaxner

....it ultimately saves your servos...with out the little bit of give that the saver offers it would strip the gears on your servos like there is no tomorrow.

  17. fg cable clamp for front disks? any links

  18. still getting hot temps on the baja

      mark35

Worst you'll do runnin rich is foul ya plug..

  20. baja engine getting hot on factory needle settings? prior to this it wasnt hardly hot? had to bring the revs down also

  21. Got the fg running!!! went to check again if the piston ring was in place, it was out by about a mm, fired up straight away, lot of smoke and cut out, next start lasted longer and cut, third start in one pull and ran constant not to smooth though. guessing this is because it needs breaking in

  22. any rc places close to Manchester that will get my fg running? or tell me what's wrong ?
