  1. I had the exact same problem and i was scratching my head for weeks as everything seemed fine on mine too. You need to blow the fuel into the carb from the fuel line to get it started initially, it works for me and then off you go waheeeey 😄
  2. wish i had that sort of a space where i can display and fix my RCs on
  3. is there any update on this Oodboo?
  4. just noticed whilst having fun with my RC the front shocks on my Kyosho Outlaw Rampage doesn't rebound as much as my rear shocks on it. I changed the position of the rear shocks slightly yesterday evening when rebuilding them, i wonder if that's the reason why it affected the front shocks? 🤔

  5. 6. Rubber sealed ball bearings or ceramic bearings for my crawler?

I need to sort out the bearings but which will last better and not seize up as i run my Carisma crawler rc in mud and bit of water ..

Just get some rubber shield from RCbearing.co.uk, they last a good amount of time anyway as they aren't subject to the same heat and friction as a fast RC.

  7. Built the front metal axle for my MN90 model 1/16th scale
  8. took my Carisma Range Rover for crawl and trail, i love the way the body looks especially when it's climbing steep ground and the way the suspensions articulate under pressure and those stock tyres man they are surely awesome :D

Shall i go for rubber sealed ball bearings or ceramic bearings?

I tend to run my Carisma Range Rover in thick muds and through a bit of water too around ponds in Epping

  9. Got these linkages, CVD, steel gears etc for my Defender from Mr Postman A full upgrade and mods on its way!!
  10. The shell had turned out awesome by staying in storage for ages lol, it clearly had better days, maybe add some rustic effect on where the paint has come off but as it is the visual impression is does look really good from what we can see
  11. after seeing Oodboo's mog which influenced me for a build time ago, i wonder if i should build a Unimog on CC01 again, this time it would be even better!
  12. Man that's a decent mog get it out even if its in back garden for a bit of run, I've built mine and did mods/upgrades by following yours and it became so fun to play with it, sadly its no longer with me and i really miss it.
  13. Started to replace the plastic bushings will ball bearings 💪
  14. How dare you sell it!!!!!!! Cry 😭 lol What was the reason for sell ?
  15. Have you built it? I love mines, the only thing is the shocks come with oiled filled but they feel bit stiff but great crawler, it can literally crawl over anything, the stock tyres are super super grippy on mines
  16. i've got the rtr version, the tyres which come with it are proper up for the job, they are super grippy the car has crawled over everything I've thrown at it, even the steepest climb
  17. i've got the Ranger Rover Carisma too, I am loving it every moment. Its so fun. I didn't even bother with changing the wheels etc all i did was lower the body slightly and even that made it look so scaled and beautiful as it is. The only issue i can see at the moment is that the shocks do feel really stiff as if there's no oil in them or something, what did you guys do to overcome this problem?
  18. Meet the family although a few members are still missing in the family shootout 😂
  19. i've done something the same. I got lipos from HobbyKing, and replacement motor, metal axles and steel gearing from banggood to make the MN90 even better. check this dude out for the upgrades
  20. good looking Jeep, what you planning in putting in terms of electric wise? I have a Land Rover 1/12 which i'm planning to upgrade the esc/motor/servo etc from Banggood..
  21. took my Carisma Range Rover crawler out for the very first time it was so much fun and has lots of potential for improvements but as it is out of the box is still fantastic, didn't realise the nimh packs would be so useful for the crawler up until now.
  22. can some one tell me why on earth is my left front shock leaking out of no reason, it was fine up until i decided to open the shock see if it was good, since opening the shock cap no matter what there is a tiny leak occuring from the cap bit where the threading 😭

these are plastic shocks by the way on my Kyoso Outlaw Rampage, some one help me 😢

it is operating smoothly, what i don't understand is that i did at leat 10 runs with my new Kyosho truck, and recently i noticed the front shock leaking, the shocks are made out of plastic. could it be the case of a crack on the shock forcing oil out from the cap bit?

    3. Oh How Original

      Oh How Original

Sorry I may have misunderstood, it sounded like it was working fine and you took the cap off to check it for some reason?

It was leaking before you removed the cap?

If so, then I'd hazard a guess at damage yes.

Or if it uses a bladder/seal, then perhaps a rebuild kit is needed.

there might a damage to it some where but i cant seen any visible damage, this is most baffling shock problem i've encountered throughout my rc history 🤣

i think it started to show a display of leak after a side impact from a concrete garden object. it just dosent add up as the shock looks mint as the truck is still fresh and the truck has been used a handful times until now, I will get metal shocks for the truck..
