It has arrived! Obligatory living room crawl complete. Thinking I'll get an extra battery or two and maybe some working beacons and rear lights. -

It's only to use for light trailing/keep in the boot of the car for the kids so hopefully it should be ok. -

Will do matey. I was planning on buying one a couple of weeks ago but all out of stock and this weekend looking at similar ones (non FMS) on banggood and was going to buy one today and then this one popped up talk about luck! -
FMS FCX24 1/24th Licensed Mercedes Unimog Scaler RTR Green

I'll have this please -
That's a shame it's not lived up to expectations mate but rest assured most of us have been in the same situation at some point so don't take it too hard. It does look good so as you say perfect for trailing, maybe a tyre/foam change would help things?

Due to needing to upsize my 1:1 car i'm selling my trx4 sport to raise some funds. It's been very little used i.e max of 4 runs in total which is reflected in the condition. Shell only minor scrapes with no tears. Couple of marks on the shafts etc as shown in the photos. The hobbywing esc/holmes motor aren't included but the original stock electrics (with xt60 battery connector) are but only a single 30min run on them to test them out. Original bumpers included i.e not the metal ones shown in pics. Extra optional inner fenders only 2 runs old. I recently used the wheels on another model and managed to tear one so the original canyons aren't included i,e no wheels/tyres. You will be hard pressed to find a second hand trx4 sport in such good condition just look at the ones on FB marketplace! £325 cash on collection £345 via paypal and postage. If you desperately want the hobbwing/holmes combo then it will be £70 on top of the price (as it will cost me this to replace it) but i will keep the stock esc and motor as need something to tide me over. I'm not looking for offers as the price is what i need to get out of it and if it doesn't sell i'll just get the funds from somewhere else. My next postage day is Monday 8th after that i'm away for a week. GRAB IT BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND!

Damn it that makes it even harder as do fancy a mog.

I've had my eye on these since they were announced so will be following your thread with great interest. Then comes the inevitable question this or the ecto!
-
Nice one mate, I'm still drawn to the ecto.
-
I've got a hubsan zino pro and it flies very well for me I've seen new ones go for £150 on eBay.
-
That's come out well, I love the tension of doing long prints😄
-
Move over to xt60 much better connector.
-
Interesting video ecto vs gatekeeper
-
I still like the look of the ecto and even been watching more youtubes tonight, i'm thinking I might reduce my stable and get one to run alongside my trx4 sport and if i don't like it sell it on.
-
Good work there mate look forward to seeing/hearing how it performs.
-
Yeah hopefully a lot would fit but would want confirmation first. The electrics in this are probably better than the traxxas ones😂
-
Yeah Chinese will just laugh at them they ain't got time for that. Saw wheels base is 310mm vs 324mm of the TRX4. Spares would be a worry for me and at £250 it's not worth a punt.

I can hear their cries (and lawers rubbing their hands together) from here, I can't believe they even copied the tx!
