  1. Buy at trx4 then get the body and wheels.
  2. Liking this but parts availability puts me off but hats off to the fusion combo.
  3. Fair point the flip side is it will pain you every time you look at it or if it breaks however minor. I would sell it and put the money into the Centaur.
  4. Nice video mate, always annoying when you want a model so bad then end up not geling with it.
  5. Nice one mate looking forward to the unboxing and thread.
  6. So was looking for a compact charger for field use and came across the M4 by ToolkitRC so decided to pick one up and here is a brief review of it. I will be updating the review as i go along as I don't want to write a massive post for it to all disappear after hitting "submit" I ordered the charger and the SC100 cable, the cable is not required to be able to use the charger. Input voltage is 725V and can be via USBC or XT60 Output is via XT30 or XT60 Connected to my 13.8v AC/DC PSU So screen is pretty self explanatory. Top line - time - Input voltage - Charger temperature Second line - Cutoff voltage Third line - Charge rate 1A 2A 3A 5A Left - Battery voltage and charge information Right - Cell information Single button - Holding down for 1 second switches charge rate - Holding down for 2 seconds changes cutoff voltage Connecting a battery Took 70 minutes to charge I also tried it connected to my Allpowers portable battery bank as this is what i was looking to use in the field. USBC outputs a good 20V. As you may have seen when connecting a battery discharger and balance cables it's very "tight" so i added extensions cables. My usb cable also displays watts.
  7. I've seen better bodies on Argos toys.
  8. Is this the steering link i need? https://greensmodels.co.uk/products/axial-scx10-ii-ar44-stainless-steel-wide-angle-steering-link-set-for-axle-mounted-servo
  9. Ok I won't bother with shafts for now then. Is this the arm I need? https://greensmodels.co.uk/products/axial-scx10-ii-ar44-stainless-steel-wide-angle-steering-link-set-for-axle-mounted-servo if not do you have a link? The Mad Mauler has arrived! What tyres do people recommend for it for mix of trails/rocks?
  10. Only £41 less than my first 1:1
  11. Great now I feel old😄
  12. Brilliant thanks for that mate i'll have a poke around for some el-cheapo ones. Yeah looked good and came with batteries as well all for a decent price.
  13. That would be great. Yes its the green one that was on there
  14. It's second hand and already got a 1080 fitted which i would have fitted anyway as i have a spare in my parts bin. What length shafts would i need i think i saw 170mm on here somewhere?
  15. Thanks guys sounds like it may not be a bad decision after all! Ordered some diffs the ones from a couple of posts above. Anyone got any links for centre shafts?
  16. Any mauler owners still on here? I was looking for something i could keep in the boot of my car for random walks/outings which i used to use my maverick scout for but alas they aren't available anymore so decided to go for a mauler. Now what i've seen (used to own a vantage and it was total junk) and read on ftx i may well come to regret it but just want something that's easy/cheap to fix for the kids to play with. Aside from electronics and metal diffs what other upgrades do people recommend?
  17. Of course mate. I'll find out the answers to those questions and let you know.
  18. Check out the carisma range they perform very well out if the box and reasonably priced as well.
  19. Jeez that sucks, like you say your in too deep and would lose a load of money if you sold it so maybe keep it for trails so still get some use out if it. I've found myself a number of times looking at non "big name" brands and liking them only to be put off by the parts supply and what's worse is that there doesn't seem to be much second hand at the moment that I could even take a punt on.
  20. Anyone up for this? location has changed to avalanche adventure (i'm sure some of my fellow 4x4 owners will know if it). Tickets go on sale end of this month price TBC.
  21. Hard body looks good and yeah if it helps with battery swapping definitely a good buy look forward to pics with it on.
