I am gutted. Was supposed to get it tomorrow and have a weekend messing before back to work Tuesday.

Gives you fair chance to change your mind :whistling:

  2. I love the look of it and I think the axle extenders are a good thing. My scout had a terrible turning circle untill I put 12mm extenders on it for and scx10. Much better now. I am considering ordering one of these or waiting for the body and just run it on the scout. Think I am in line for a new RC as it's my birthday next Monday........hmmmmmm.
  3. Looks to me like a scout with a trail orientated chassis.
  4. Nice. I've running a hobbywing 4092 for a few years in my emaxx. It's serious motor. It's a struggle to keep any wheels down let alone the fronts. Haven't done a diff yet though.
  5. Using the dimensions you may well find it fits something like a slash or firestorm with a little padding from closed cell foam. It's really quite irrelevant on the "fit" as there are always options to mounting with Velcro straps if you really want to use existing batteries. I for instance have been running a yeti XL on an 8000mah zippy 4s brick. Like you I had these knocking about so made a battery tray and found somewhere to fix it.
  6. Patients sir. The forum is quiet during the day due to people working so replies may come slowly. 40 mins is a bit quick to quip. Anyways. You can get adapters but looking at the one lipo you need that connector off asap. It looks like the positive and neg are sticking out of the hxt connector body. This is massively dangerous and you will regret letting go this bad boys short out. There will be a bang followed by fire. .....lots of fire. If you are adamant you can't solder try your LHS or ask a friend. The soldering quality need to be good to avoid a bottle neck for current and resistance. But in answer to your question yes you can get adaptors hxt to ec5
  7. Depends how old it is. Early ones don't have lvc but newer ones do. Mine has and it's spot on.
  8. Yeti XL kit version as a roller. What kinds Nd of cash would i be looking at to sell guys. Not getting used and I am obsessed with crawlers. Been looking about but none around ATM.

    Cheers.

Won't hurt to try, just keep in mind you might have to take an offer :)

Fair enough guys. Cheers for the replys.

  9. I certainly thought so but missed out.
  10. That's the one i originally wanted billy was out of stock. You can keep or install the rear roll bar dependant on rtr or kit with the 82mm motor. The 92mm fits in the chassis but too long if you want a roll bar. The extra cope of mm in the body diameter should serve you well.
  11. I was running a leopard 1600kv 4082 from Asiatees for a while.
  12. Looks like it may have been discontinued, I a failing to find any other than 182378887253 on ebay.
  13. When I first started rc tamiya was about all you could get hobby grade... certainly around us anyway. I remember the oruginal grasshopper on the shelf at budd morgan in cardiff. That was silly money back then in relation. Where as I agree that it's defo more accessible now mainly due to the power of the interweb, the price relevance still applies
  14. I think it's a cash flow problem. Average Joe has less spare cash. Models and parts are effectively pricing themselves out of the market. I certainly haven't got the spare cash to batter my rc like I did 10 years ago.

    WTB. Crawler.

    Still looking guys.

    WTB. Crawler.

Looking for a crawler. Scout...ax10.... something similar. Don't want to spend a fortune as looking to mod. What you got guys. ?
  17. I don't really have the space to use that kind of top end and do intend to use it for an element of rocks during the summer as I am in coral quite a lot. You will have an I sane top end.
  18. Fitted the 64T spur and it's a straight swap. Everything fitted up spot on. Waiting for the rain to ease up and will give it a blast. 64/24 for now.
  19. Less than £15 posted so not too bad. I just hope there isn't any kind of carrier needed roo No mention of it anywhere though. So finger crossed.
  20. I got the 24 pinny inside the cover with stock spur...just but it did fit. The 1717 would prob still need a smaller spur even more than my leopard.
  21. Nah not yet. Hit and miss on delivery times with rcmart. I've had stuff in days and weeks.
  22. Don't get me wrong it's doing a phone gps speed of 38mph on grass which I find plenty for the yeti, thing is the motor is still begging for more l....who am I to deny its sweet spot on gearing.
  23. It's a hefty 4092 1480kv. Nice and smooth low down with enough torque to consider making a wheelie bar. Ordered the 64 spur from rcmart so will soon find out if it fits stick slipper set up.
