  1. switching wires don't matter on a matlr that has no direction labeled on it like some do. I would of just switched the wire to be honest
  2. really liking this mate! top job keep up the good work and look forward to seeing it completed one question, what the plastiecard stuff like to work with?
  3. he has posted the same question in there and another section.... haha you've seen it lol
  4. you want them at 3.8v per cell mate
  5. ones for the tamiyas, are they rounded edges? they fit ok? if so got a link to them mate?
  6. i have 5 3 2s 2 3s not that it matters ha
  7. if you look at the thread you will see an edit button, you can click that and edit the thread bud. title as well I believe
  8. you will be very surprised at just how much power even a 2s will put out! start with a 2s then if you feel you want some more speed go with a 3s. to be honest a 2s is good for a tt01. I ran 3s in mine and is mental! but then it all depends what kv motor you have.
  9. there is in your budget the tamiya TT-01 that can be got second hand for about
  10. thats ok dude. to me its easier to get drifting and stay in a drift. dont get me wrong the TT-01 is a good base for any type of surface you want to run it on be it tarmac or drift. maybe its just me as i've had my TL for years and the TT for only about a year or so.
  11. it's not bad, obviously there are better out there with everything. I like mine. must admit I prefer my older TL-01 for drifting but the TT still puts a smile on my face as well. as I said just grab some cheap drift wheels, can get them from ms for sub
  12. the motor and esc has to be done at the same time, the radio gear can be done first or after. you do need the radio set (controller and receiver) old one won't work with new 2.4ghz you can get everything from modelsport or shop around at the likes of hobbyking to get it cheaper but at the risk of you may have to order from international and wait (only if the uk don't stock the bits you need)
  13. sorry I miss read that! a drift spec TT has oil shocks and drift tyres that's all that I could see different! I'd lock the rear diff on yours. get some drift tyres and go from there. should cost you no more than

are you in the RC/toy trade bud?
  16. you should be able to get them reproduced by someone surely? unless they hold a copyright over them?
  17. i shall never be able to afford one of these, but i just wanted to say this if for any reason they may read it. HPI..... hahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahaha i'll go back to cheap corner now lol
  18. I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say I recon anything DESIGNED pre 2000 should be
  19. who's axial going to nick? and will you still be having stock of them?
  20. check the EPA settings and make sure everything it at 100% then recalibrate your esc bud
  21. i dont see the point? they dont last long enough to snap mountings, plus people replace them with a much better ESC as soon as they fry which is normally 3 minutes after buying one lol
  22. why sell? do you need the money that bad? i would stick it away somewhere safe, get all your work done and dusted, get it back out and have fun! as if you sell it 6 months later you will be kicking your self so hard for selling it and you will end up buying another one, with extras and it will cost you more! stick with this one and you wont spend anything when you get it back out. there you go i just SAVED you money lol
  23. personally electric all the way. for me its more reliable, faster and less mess. but i do like the smell of a nitro driving past! if only they kept their tune a bit better i would consider getting another, my maxx is just pants to try and get right!
  24. many people say it looks like a vacuum... it will probably suck just like one too hahah
