Good choice i here the kyosho truggy's are very nice and the nova engine should be great.
Nothing wrong with modelsports 25% fuel ive used it for a few years with good results it performs much better than optifuel and is much better value for money than byrons but each to there own :-)
If its a stock blitz flux its allready geared for 3s but there a real handfull far to much power 3s.
I run 2s in mine with a 23t pinion gear (18t stock) and it runs around 40mph which is plenty fast enough for me with decent temps on the motor and esc.
As for upgrades a decent metal geared servo works wonders then you can tighten up the servo saver spring which makes the steering much sharper and consistent.Other than that i just run mine if somthing brakes ill upgrade it
Im torn between the two well three really when the Halix is realised. The more i see and read on your thread the more i want the stampede or halix depending on good reviews but then i look at the mt4 g3 and think thats a hell of alot of truck for the price .
I dont have the cash untill the begining of december but deciding is giving me serious ball ache which i know is a bit pathetic lol
I feel your anger mate ,The amount of dog **** around the area i live is outrageous its pure bone idleness.
Anyway as youve owned your stampy for a while now ,How do you rate it compared to your other rc's especially against your mt4 ?
id stay away from the trophy its not bad but not as good as the eb4 .The kyosho inferno are supposed to be good for the money or if you have a little more to spend the hyper 7 buggy is a solid choice .
Personally id get the new eb4 as soon as they are relaesed.
I've had two eb4's and loved mine the thunder tiger 21 engines are one of the better rtr engines easy to tune and decnt power If you wait until the 20th Modelsport will/should have the newer 2.5 pro version with waterproof electrics .
May get myself one for over the winter :-)
I would stick with the stock chassis ,From experience it's not the chassis that breaks its the plastic bulkheads .
I think rpm make some heavy duty bulkheads or you can buy alloy versions.
