  1. Any more news with this, I'm going to be working in Hayle (restoration on Harvey's Foundry, opposite Asda, under the railway)again soon and wouldn't mind a reason to take the rc's to work with me.
  2. Have you looked at the Hobao hyper MT in the for sales? Looks a tidy complete package ( it's nothing to do with me,) to get you started.
  3. Beast of a build. Looks stunning in that table, I'm making a similar table for the Bren, crate-like sides, sand layer in the base with empty cases scattered around and the Bren in amongst it all, with a nice clear glass top.

  10. Welcome to the forum, good choice of trucks for your return to the hobby, the Savvy flux is just ridiculous which is why I love mine!
  11. I suspect mond has hit all the points, discon after a year, odd size, etc. I love all these type of trucks with flappy axles hanging out the back, if I had any faith that it would still be on sale this time next year I would have one.
  12. Sorry Gaz, forgot all about that thread, I just showed him the pic and he's not keen. Thanks anyway and sorry for late reply!

  15. Been looking at the vids on rcmart I think it was, body set was £60ish. Does look very good, especially that wooden bed.
  16. He wants a full on jdm sort so it's probably going to be a killerbody or abc hobbies type of one, I shall pray on a daily basis to the eBay gods I can find one pre cut and painted, I would just balls it right up!
  17. He was cool, ordered him a replacement yesterday and now have to source a nice jdm type of shell for him, hoping someone one here has something for sale.
  18. Broke the boys Christmas pressie, accidentally drove the yeti xl over it! Car is fine just the body got annihilated, I felt so bad!

I taught him to ramp hard fast and high with the finesse of a optimistic kamikaze, all this subtle handling business seems wrong, he also has about £500 worth of drift shells in my eBay basket!

I'd say let him enjoy whatever he likes and being in the basket doesn't mean you have to buy them ;)

But yeah, you can easily spend £200+ on a lexan shell for a drifter lol.

I know somebody who did a home dna test a few years ago. It came back with percentages of the geographical area their ancestry came from. For example 20% North Africa and 80% Northern Europe. It wasn't more specific, ie Sheffield and Marrakesh.

  21. RTR. Stock servos will go pop in the first 5 mins of war.
