    you can use it straight away or you can charge it the evening before a bash but dont keep them fully charged for days tho I would invest in a lipo sack or an ammo box or a batsafe box to store your lipos in

    just under an hour but the charger will tell you when its fully charged

    so charge your 4000 mah battery at 2s and 4a the 5200 at 2s and 5.2a

    1c is the charge rate not the voltage

    try giving the batteries a proper 1c balance charge and try them 1c is 4a for the 4000 mah and 5.2a for 5200 mah battery

    oh well at least you found out what it is and sourced a replacement

    the green thing is a resister by looks of it the orange discs are anti spark capacitors to stop spurious radio signals being generated ie interferance
