The X86 architecture will allow it to be backwards compatible as well. The PS4 will have more Graphics grunt due to using GDDR5. Where as the Xbox Is using AMD's APU technology and having the 8gb of DDR3 shared between CPU and GPU. mainstream support for windows server 2008 ends in 2015, but extended support (no one uses it) goes onto 2020 same with XP.
